Hi peeps
its my Visible Image dt day
this week i thought i would go simple, as in just stamps ink pads
and some cheap as chips supermarket pencils.
i think as we progress and our cards get more and more elaborate we forget there are a lot of people just starting out and might think they can never do that, but we all started somewhere with a few bits and not all the amazing products available to us now.
so here we are 3 card using very basic materials.

first is LOVE and i have used the small rose From
i stamped it in Tattered Rose distress ink,
then using Love from the same set i stamped in black over the Rose.

second is Rose

this one is simply stamped in Fired Brick Distress ink using the large rose from the
Immortal love set, the i coloured it using some cheapo pencils i bought in a supermarket.

and finally is Immortal heart

this one is using the
the heart is stamped in Fired Brick distress ink, and then stamped over with the word Immortal in  black

and there you have it, 3 cards using very minimal stash, i hope it inspires at least one person to try with even the simplest tools to make some cards or art .

Hi guys , second post for me today, but i wanted to share these wonderful Christmas decoupage makes with you.

these are all Anita's Attic by
today im going to share the ones i would consider cuties, i also have some that i think are traditional , so ill be sharing them another day soon.

ok here we go

now come on how adorable are they! the cardsare all 6x6, and iv tried to match the colours for the backing and embelishments with the decoupage, which i have to say is a dream to work with , just pop out of the sheet perfectly and make the most wonderful pics.

so why not get your christams started nice and early, get to your local do crafts stockist and grab yourself some sheets and get busy , its never too early you know
hugs xx

hello lovely peeps
all over the weekend i was playing with some wonderful
goodies this is one card i made using the Do Crafts 250 g bag of assorted buttons.
the backing paper is from the Capsule collection, Midnight blush
such an elegant colour paper collection
this is an 8x8 card which is simple yet interesting i think.
once i had placed all the buttons i stuck them down then highlighted a few with some Crystal stickles, the giant button at the bas i just threaded with a ribbon and tied a bow, and at the top i layered 3 buttons for interest.
i hope you like it, i have used this as a bit of tuesday inspiration over at
if you want lots more inspirations pop over there and look at all the fantastic projects by the design team.

Hi everyone there is some fabulous inspiration over at
Here is my make
I had a plain cream blind and wanted to liven it up , my kitchen is painted a soft mushroom colour so I thought mushrooms would look good.
A Google search came up with the wonderful old illustrations, i loved this one so saved it to my comp took it into My Craft Studio and changed to the size that would look nice on the blinds.
Next I printed them onto some t shirt print paper, and fussy cut around them.
Ok that was the easy peas bit.....
Next I lay the blinds on the floor on some folded bath towels, and began to iron  the mushrooms on.
Took a bit of time and was  little tricky but this is the result.
 I really like it .
Then a friend sent me one of those DIY clocks, so of course I had to make it to match the blind,
I started by painting the clock base with white acrylic, then onto this I layered some tissue paper that I had printed with a muted beige pattern, next I sized printed and fussy cut the same mushroom and stuck it down, finally I used some fancy buttons as the numbers, then the whole thing has been sealed with Deco Mache to make it ok for a kitchen,  of almost forgot I covered the back with pattern paper and also sealed.

Here it is

So hope these inspire you , don't forget to pop over to the blog for more inspiration
from the other girls.

Hi guys I have a little inspiration for you today
Following on from a make i did a few weeks back of an altered matchbox I have made an incense holder
I have used the inner cardboard tube from a kitchen towel roll.
First I made a base and glued on place, then a lid.
I covered the tube in papers from the prima paper pad something blue, to match the box, then used some mini tabs from the pad and made some flowers, then added to the tube to coordinate and compliment the matchbox,

the lid as you can see has one large flower and 3 small ones.

Here you can see the side views

hope you like it and it gives you a little inspiration.
These gorgeous papers and many many more beautiful paper pads are available from

hey guys
well its wednesday so my day for sharing my dt make for
and this week i had a play with

i started with a 6x6 base and inked the edge with a red pigment ink pad.
to make the matt for this i took the tape measure stamps and stamped each one over on an a4 sheet, one sheet per stamp, then i cut them all out, and inked with Brushed corduroy distress ink.
nex i wove the 2 different strips and once woven i stuck double sided tape on the back to hold together and to adhere to the card, the edges where trimmed and then inked with black soot distress ink.
as the main feature i took a fancy flower doily i cut on the craft robo, and stamped the sentiment in the centre, next i stamped the body form and lots of buttons both large and small.
once these where all cut out i glazed them , while they dried i wove a ribbon through the cut outs on the doily, then i put the whole lot together and this is the result .

i hope you like it xx

Thursday, 3 July 2014

hi everyone,
i have some inspiration for you today (at least i hope it inspires you)
first up is a bag charm that should have gone live on tuesday but for some reason didnt so i thought id pop it on here for you to see :)
this is not normaly something i play with much , but i have a gorgeous bag that i love and my zipper thingy broke so i made this dangly to clip on the zip so i would be able to open and close it easy .

i chose charms and beads that would match the colours on the bag and added to a length of chain, then finished with a lobster claw clasp

and second is a Game of Thrones inspired 8 x 8 wall hanging
the wonderful image is by Kelly Rhodes for
isnt it just a stunner! and perfect for any Game of thrones fan
ok so first i went wandering around google images and found a map of the Dothraki sea, i sixed printed and fussy cut around the edge and cut out the rivers because the background was black, not what i wanted lol, i then matt this onto a beautiful turquoise glazed paper, and then this was matt onto a black base.
The mother and her Dragons was printed and coloured in spectrum noir pens, and then i gave the dragons a wash of sparkling h20s in the appropriate colour, which due to my pants photography skills doesnt show up in the pic :/
next i found an english / Dothraki dictionary and did the title, which i then cut on the Craft robo
( it actually reads mother of Dragons), and to complete the piece i watched the clip of Daerio giving Daneries flowers on the road to Meereen and explains them to her, the blue dusk rose, ladies lace and Harpies gold.
i tried to recreate them as close as i could , and added to complete the picture.

what do you think ... yeah im a geek i know lol
