this is an 8x8 card, all the papers and flowers are from papermania Beautiful cd
the Image is called Rowena isn't she pretty?
i coloured her with Spectrum noir markers and fussy cut her to fit behind the frame, all the edges are distressed and inked with Brushed corduroy distress ink.
the happy birthday was added in the digital design program.
the the flowers wehre fussy cut inked spritzed and scrunched, once dry i added liquid pearls to the center then just added to the card in a kind of scattered but not pattern lol.

Visible Image.....Theres always Hope, fae stamp set

hey guys , lovely weather we are having, well if your a duck!
so todays post is my weekly Dt post for
and i have been playing with
i am so loving these new releases so dont be suprised if you see quite a few makes with them :)
ok so the sentiment in this one really struck a cord  and this idea came to me as i drifting off to sleep last night ( this often happens). i really like how it turned out

apart from making the flower which is a little time consuming, this is a pretty simple card
a white card base, covered in a pink paper, then matt with soft green, i did go around the edges with black soot disress ink, but only a touch, then stamp the sentiment and add your flower , the flower is finished off with the ribbon and a brad from the hanoverian embroidered brads from the V&A collection.
what do you think guys?
oh forgot to tell you the flower is made by stamping the wings from the set and colouring then fussy cutting, the wings have 3 sections and i cut them to form the petals.
so there you have a different way to use the stamp set, think outside the box , the possibilities are endless

Hi everyone the new challenge at
That Craft Place challenge blog
Theme
Ribbons & lace
I have used a fab digi Anaise by Trudie Howard
I thought she was so pretty I would make a wall hanging, I started by printing her on card and coloured with my spectrum noir pens, then I fussy cut her out and decorated her with netting, gems and some silver cord.
The background was painted with blue and silver acrylic paint and then I printed a background of blue roses onto tissue paper and stuck it down with deco Mache.
Next I stamped over it randomly, and sponges the edges with silver acrylic.
I printed wings in Stazon onto some wax paper from a cereal packet
I put a strip of organza ribbon along the bottom and added a strip of bling on top,
To complete it I added some lace black pearl swirls and a black bow .
hope you lik it , this will soon be winging its way to Erin who fell in love with it :)

Visible Image nature

hey guys , well its Wednesday and my Visible Image day and
well they do say better late than never so here i am with a big fat sorry to Mark & Helen for forgetting this weeks post :/ but in a way it is their fault cos i have been sent the most Delicious new sets of stamps to work with all to be launched on Saturday so watch this space you are going LOVE these!!
anyway back to this weeks make

i went for a trio of wall hangings, each can be used on its own or as a group the choice is yours, they are each 4 x 6.
i started off by sponging the different shades of colour in distress ink for the background, then i added the grass in black, green and white, and splattered white all over.
next i stamped the butterflies and the dragon fly and coloured, fussy cut and placed one on each canvas, next i stamped the words, and finally i took the blue distress ink pad and kind of scraped it along the edges to give the messy grungy look i love.

Sunday 18 May 2014

happy Sunday peeps, and what a glorious one it is , the sun is shining its lovely and warm, the cats are sunning themselves and all i have to do is craft ....
i have a dt make for
this ones theme is not something i love lol
Male cards / Male colours
top that off with the image i got ,which don't get me wrong i adore after all its Aurora wings and i just LOVE her work but it didn't fit my idea of a male theme lol
anyway here it is , i went for what i thought was kinda masculine colours

i don't think it turned out to bad in the end, and with such a spectacular image i wanted to keep the actual card quite simple, so its simply mounted and matt onto a deep turquoise card which i matt with a green paper that i hand stitched around the edge just to give a little detail, the cotton i dyed with the same deep blue spectrum i used on the hair, then i took 2 acetate butterfly's and coloured those too and there you have it .

all the sponsor & prize details are on the challenge blog here

hope you come play along

hey guys
new Delicious Doodles challenge
theme
Something Moody
I decide to go dark and moody with my make

I stared with a black 8x8 blank, then printed the Dark Forest background
I coloured this with shades of brown grey and blue grey for the water
next I printed and cut the Shadow Faerie 3 times coloured fussy cut and decoupaged him, then I did the same with the Owl be M,eating you. I printed coloured and cut lots of the Deaths Head Hawk moth.
To complete the scene I stamped the sign and coloured and there you have it a dark moody scene.
so come on over and get moody with us all

all the images i used  are from

Thursday 15 May 2014

hi guys, well I'm here with a little Thursday inspiration for
That Craft Place Challenge Blog
i got this 4 x 6 canvas free with a larger one i bought , when i was doing a tag swap i mixed up some paint for the background, it was such a pretty colour and i had some left so i covered this canvas with it, so when i had a bit of spare time i had a play and this is what i came up with

i used one of the stamps from the Kanban Jasper set, i stamped and coloured the dress form part of the image, the i stamped the shirt part several times onto pattern paper, shaded a bit with my spectrum noir markers then layered it leaving the lower edge free and slightly shaped upwards to give the feel of layers of fabric, the corset and hat are stamped onto a coordinating darker paper, cut out and decoupaged, then i took some gold thread and laced the corset ending in a lovely bow.
next the background, first i stamped it with moonlight white Brilliance ink and a lace pattern stamp, then i used Ditzie Designs Curvy cog, background stamp which i embossed in gold, i love the grungy feel you get with stamping onto canvas and embossing.

iv added some metal embellishments , and lace and flowers, which i think give a nice contrast to the grungy background,

hope you like it :)

the card i cut on my craft robo, then put some tissue behind the cut out , to finish i hand wrote the sentiment following the circle round. ( excuse my horrid handwriting lol)

Visible Image goes west .

hey guys
Visible Image day

well I was going through files & backing up onto my external drive and found this old template,

straight away I thought of

Visible Image Clayton Legend stamp set x

he's a great little character and this set is real fun to play with.
So I printed the template twice, on one I coloured and stamped the bricks front the Max Rocks set.
On the other I coloured and stamped the wood plank, then coloured and stamped extra planks to add the Aim High sign

all the wooden parts where fussy cut and added to the brick backing, the windows and door had been cut out and I found a saloon pic online, printed and added to the back, then using a black pen I added the window bars, the doors open and have the back decorated too.
Clayton was stamped and coloured with spectrum noir markers and fussy cut, then just because I could I adds the guns over the doors and of course a few bullet holes :) .
Hope you like it, I think its quite a fun make .

hi guys time for another fab challenge at
theme
Alter a Tin or Alter it
I have used images from the amazing Ditzi Digi Designs on Etsy

Isn't she cute
I measured the tin and printed a background in a deep blue pattern paper to look like the deep ocean,
Next I printed the ocean scene to fit, I printed it 4 times coloured cut and decoupaged it
Then did the same with the mermaid, its all coloured with spectrum noir markers then decoupaged with Deco Mache which also seals it so its waterproof next I made some shells and a starfish with silk clay while they dried I added pearls around the top and bottom of the tin, next I made a fishing nets using some net (obviously lol) and some tiny beads as the gloats along the edge , I then stick this to the one side edge of the tin adding some fish buttons and scooping it up into shape.

Once the shells had dried I coloured them with spectrum noir markers and then mixed some mica powder to the Deco Mache and painted them and the mermaids tail and fins to give them a nice shimmer, once these had dried I stick them to the tin and a few more fish then completed it by giving the whole thing a generous coat of Deco Mache to seal it all so its nice and waterproof and will sit nicely in the bathroom to hold razors

I hope you like it and come play along with the challenge , pop over and see all the wonderful DT inspiration on the challenge blog.

hi guys can you believe its Friday already, and another bank holiday looms ..but before that im here with another challenge for you guys to play along with.
Theme
White on White

Ok so here is my effort
I wont lie guys I found this a real challenge lol pardon the pun.
So I started with a glossy 6x6 base card, then cut a fancy layer on the craft robot.
I chose the wistful fairy, printing her a few times and then decoupaged and glittering her and adding gems, she was them mounted onto a white shape that I had stamped a script on on white so subtle you can't see it lol... this was then mounted onto a glittered shape and then onto the card, to complete it I added a beautiful gem swirl.
So will you accept the White on white challenge?

Visible Image May challenge

hey guys me again another Visible image post this time for the monthly challenge
the theme for this month is

i have used the lovely Clara & Edgar and went for a Steam Punk Wedding theme.
this is an 8 x 8 wall hanging, the background is printed and stuck down onto card. then i cut an arch and using inks and gilding waxes gave it a metallic lustre, the wonderful Hearts Entwined Verse is stamped inside the arch, if you look close you can see i also used the Bronte Script randomly over the background.
along the bottom i have used the Tall Grass stamp in both black and white, and have gone all round the edge with the bottom of the Grunge flourish Stamp
Edgar & Clara are both coloured with Spectrum Noir markers in turquoise and black
Next i decorated the  arch with some flourishes and tiny white flowers, and to finish and give the steam punk feel i but lots of tiny cogs and dots and added all over in a random pattern.
oh almost forgot , not sure if you can see it too clear but i also splattered white all over the background.

and there you go my inspiration make for the May challenge, pop over to the blog for lots more fantastic inspiration from the other dt girls
