good morning lovely people of blog land
we have a fab new challenge at
the theme is
Sentimental

Iwent for a very girly steam punk feel
the image is from Ditzie Digi designs That Craft place on Etsy
as you can seei went with a tag this time, the backing paper is from Tinkering with Steam punk
from My Craft Studio, i changed the colour and faded it right down for a subtle effect.
then added the sentiment and printed
I then over stamped this with Ditzie Designs clearly Backgrounds curvy Cogs( love this stamp), in worn Lipstick distress ink.
I then stamped some in Brushed corduroy and fussy cot a few out .
the image was printed and coloured with Spectrum noir pens, and fussy cut, i added pink lace and ribbon and a bit of brown fluffy trim to the bottom of the tag, placed the image and then added the flowers, and the cogs I added randomly all over, and finished with ribbon through the top.
the other dt girls have done some fantastic inspirational makes so pop over to the blog and have a look then get busy and show us you take on Sentimental

its been a wonderful 2 years (boy that went quick)
im leaving you with these 2 cards made with

&
&

first up is Cowardly Lion the base card is 8x8 and i layered that with a backing paper from my craft studio, then i printed and cut some branch silhouettes, fussy cut them and layered onto the card, next i stamped some of the monkey silhouettes from the Flying monkey set , stamped fussy cut and then added little red gems for evil eyes, these i have hung from the trees , next the lion was stamped and coloured using spectrum noir pens, then fussy cut, as was his crown, then he was added.
the sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold, then i over stamped and embossed it in black

next up is the flying monkey

again i used a black card base adding a backing paper from my craft studio, i stamped all around using the winter tree, and the other monkey silhouette.
then The Monkey was  stamped and coloured fussy cut and added on foam sticky pads.
and to finish the sentiment was added in black.

and there you have it my last Visible Image post, no doubt you will see some Visible image makes from me in the future as i have all the lovely stamps still to play with.

hey guys
we have a great new challenge for you over on

Autumn colours

this is 8x8

i chose 2 coordinating backing papers and layered, mounted the image which is coloured with Spectrum noir pens onto the same base paper as the first layer, mounted it at an angle and added some metal corners, the bow is a wired ribbon so holds a lovely shape. next i took some leaves i had and arranged in one corner with just a single leaf peeking from the bottom opposite corner, i cut out some dragonflies and game them gem bodies, then added a few gems in the corners to finish it off.
i think shes quite pretty.

ok so now its your turn, head over to the Delicious Doodles challenge Blog and enter your makes

Wednesday 3 September 2014

Hey guys
DT day, boy the weeks are flying by
this week i went for a masculine make , very unusual for me
as they are not my fave things to do,lol but i have to admit i enjoyed this one,

as you can see its a tag, its 4'' x 7'' so a nice size, first i covered it in a paper from my craft studio that i had faded quite a lot to give a very subtle patterned base, then i used the
i stamped the large pocket watch twice, fussy cut including cutting the center out of one, then layered them on quite thin sticky pads, then i added Triple thick brilliant brush on gloss glaze, filling the center to give the effect of a class cover, once dry i finished it off by rubbing Creative Expressions Patina Metallic Gilding Wax over the watch case.
to do the background i just randomly stamped using a variety of stamps from the set some in just black in some in silver embossing powder, i loved the effect of some embossing powder randomly sticking to places it wasn't meant to be. i added the sentiment take time to enjoy life using the words from the set , they kind of blend into the background a bit but at the same time are visible. then i took the gilding wax and just rubbed it into a few areas.
the watch was added , and instead of the usual ribbon though the hole i added a chain with a key on the other end and on the end attached to the watch i added a tiny dollar charm. and finished with black soot distress ink rubbed all around the edge.
this was a totally random make just playing and stamping, give it a go its a lot of fun .
hugs xx

Monday 1 September 2014

Morning my lovelies :)
Can you believe its September already, I can feel the season changing and I love that we are moving into my gave season , anyway that's not why I'm here lol
Its a new month so a new challenge at
And what better theme as we move into the darker half of the year than
Make it Sparkle
Ok so here is my make

First I stamped in white/glitter embossing powder using the smallest  2 of the snowflakes set, then using Broken China & Distress Ink I blended the 2 colours all over the background, the embossed areas resist the ink giving a lovely effect.
Next I blended the same 2 colours on another piece of card then stamped the largest Snowflake in glue and sprinkled with glitter.
Using thin double sided tape I went around the edges and then glittered.
To finish I adds the beautiful Winters Miracle Verse.
