hi all
well we are at the end of 2015 can you believe it!
and we have a new mixed media challenge at
That craft place
and as always its
Anything goes
i really enjoyed making this one, my sister renewed her wedding vows in august
for their 10th anniversary, well we are all shorties in our family so of course she had
to have a chuck take off the bottom of her dress, which of course i snaffled up
( you just dont throw away beautiful satin and lace).
so i came up with this idea for a keepsake for her
isnt it beautiful lace!
but all the fab detail was on the back as with most wedding dresses
i replicated it as close as i could.
then for the base i took one of the oval plaques covered it in the same paper i used for her invites
added a spool of the same ribbon, a sample of the lace( which i hoped looks like a bale of fabric)
some pretty buttons and a thimble
and finally a tiny replica of the bouquet i made for her.
thank fully she loved it lol.
i am always nervous when i make something for someone until i know they like it .
all the important links
so thats it until next year guys
i hope you have a wonderful christmas
and wish you all the very best for a peaceful and blessed 2016
xx
