hey all my lovely peeps.hope you're all well and getting some sunshine
its time for a new challenge at
and everyone's fav theme
Anything goes
iv gone a little dark with this make,
(but not as dark as another piece im working on lol ) :)
but that's another days blog ....
today's make is a desk tidy
i started off with an empty gravy granules container, a loo roll inner,
and a roast potato seasoning pot.
then taking some packaging cardboard (my daughter loves Amazon :/
i cut 2 circles and glued them together for stability.
each part was then painted in black jesso before being sponged
with a mix of black white and grey acrylic paint.
once they where all dry i painted a coat of Cosmic shimmer
matt Glue,Seal & Glaze, as i was going for a stone effect the matt glaze was perfect.
i then glued each piece to the base
next i took some thine wire and made barb wire and wrapped around the containers.
i took some flowers and added leaves and stuck them on as if they where growing on the wire.
the skulls came from an old Halloween decoration, i simply piled therm up, adding another rose.
the little fence is a silhouette cut which is painted black and then brushes with Creative expressions
Metallic gilding Wax in Patina
then to complete the graveyard look i took apart a washing up sponge taking the green scrubby bit and pulling it apart and sticking in random places to resemble moss.

&
the little lonely dude round the side
hope you like it guys,
all the products used are from That Craft Place but of course you will have to supply your own rubbish to up-cycle , lol
