a little inspiration with That Craft Place

hey guys i know this is a really late post, but i thought i would share this little project with you 

i love incense and candles , i hate lighters so always have a big box of matches in the room, well as you know they ain't the prettiest looking lol, only thing to do is make them pretty!

ok so i started off with one of those big boxes of cooks matches, removed the sleeve and opened it to make a template, once this was cut from card i covered it with papers from aprima paper stack 

Something Blue that i got from That Craft Place,  i used once for the top that had a beautiful image on it, then on the sides & botton i used a matching stripe paper .

and added a really thin lace along the join on the sides.

i cut the strike strip from the side of the original sleeve and stuck to the bottom

then the top is decorated with some handmade flowers a tiny scrap of lace and 2 cards cut from the paper stack, and ther you have it something pretty and useful :)
