good morning all
there is a new challenge at

i decided to do a christmas card, ( getting the odd one done early lol)

i started with a silver base, and matt a paper from papermania enchanted disk
then i printed Swirly SnowFlake tree twice i then
coloured it with my spectrum noir pens, and fussy cut it.

then i fussy cut all the snowflakes from the second print and covered in stickles, i printed and glazed buttons, and once dry i cut out and made holes and threaded cotton to make bows, then i added to the center of the snowflakes, i added random bows over the tree, and stuck the tree to the base, and to finish i added tin gems randomly across the tree and background.

quite simple but effective

come join in the challenge and show us your buttons and bows creations

hugs x

Visible image Katie in summer mood

Hi guys, its

from me today, and i  have done so much lately with the new stamps i thought id have a look through all my stamps and its quite nice to do that and revisit some stamps you haven't used in a while, sad to forget our old faves because we have so many lovely new ones to play with, and i decided to use the lovely Katie Kisses Set, she is such a summer girl i couldn't resist with the sun shining bright :)

i have a green base which is matt with some paper from Websters Pages called Petite Papers, on this i added a fancy pink ribbon, and a green satin ribbon, then popped on a doily, i stamped Katie and the Sentiment and a bunch of flowers and butterflies, then i coloured them all in with my spectrum noir pens, and i added dots/ stripes to some with a white gel pen, and finished off the butterflies with some gems for the bodies, i cut the sentiment out like a ticket ,and brushed over it in tattered rose distress ink.

why not have a look through  your old stamps and visit a few old faves x

Me again :)

i have been playing with
again so have a little Tuesday inspiration for you

isn't he dashing? he is called

i coloured him in pink and brown , because real men wear pink! lol
(and because it's one of my fave colour combos).

so i started with a base card which i covered in blown paper, then mat a clocks paper from the do crafts Chronology range, then mat a smaller deep pink paper on brown and added, next i hand cut a large cog , covered with silver foil and painted with gold and burgundy metallic acrylic paint , the 2 colours are mixed slightly but  not too much or you lose the blend of colours.
Mr steampunk was then fussy cut mounted onto the same brown paper and cut around and added on top of the big cog, i coloured and added a few smaller cogs, and  a penny Farthing charm to finish.

all materials used are available from

the i added a black border and faded the edges of the main backing paper, i added some swirls and butterfly's and printed, then i simply coloured her with my spectrum noir pens

i really am not a one layer girl I'm a stuff it all on kinda girl lol, so i hope you like this effort.

first i cut the tag shape then printed Portia to a nice size to fit , i then covered the tag in some brown & cream dot paper, to this i added some flowers cut from a wide cream lace and stuck it to the backing with Deco Mache, i then gave the whole thing a coat to seal it all,
next i took some of that magic sponge stuff, ( you know the white eraser sort) and cut to fit along the bottom, stuck it down and covered with card and matching paper, while this was drying i turned my attention to Portia, i coloured her flesh with spectrum noir pens, then i carefully paper pieced her outfit in colours to compliment the background and also the stickpins, i added lace and ribbon, and Portia to the tag, then flowers and a couple of metal charms, to finish and complete i added 3 really beautiful stick pins
