guy everyone,
its time for a new challenge at

and what other theme at this time of year but
Christmas

well i thought id give it a little twist lol

you know me by now guys not quite normal lol

i just adore this little lady from That craft Place Etsy store
betsy boots , Witchy poo

she has been printed out on the fab super smooth card from That craft Place, this card is a dream to colour on, once she was coloured with the Spectrum noir pens i went over adding depth with the Spectrum noir pencils.
next i cut out some tiny christmas baubles on my Craft Robo, coloured them (i tend to cut everything in white and then colour to match the project) i printed the cat and cauldron, and fussy cut, then cut some candy canes on the Robo, once they are all cut coloured ans the canes assembled, oh and mustnt forget the holly! everything was covered in TTriplethick gloss glaze,( also available form lisa).
then it was just a matter of finding some lovely papers to go with the image matt and layer and once the embellishments had dried i just had to add them to the card.

the inside is just mat with a piece of matching backing paper and then a sentiment cut on the robo.

i hope you like it and come join us in the challenge, maybe you can put a little spin on the christmas theme too
hugs x

hey guys
well i said i would show you a the things iv been working on, or should i say playing at lol
a friend of mine gave me the idea for this one, so i made her one.
now i know nothing of harry potter having never seen or read any of the films or books so this was all done from pics on google. everything is made from paper, clay or cardboard.

this is the finished cabinet

on the top shelf we have harrys letter of acceptance, some spell bottles, a map ( dont tknow the name of it) and a book,.these both open and are tiny replicas so as exact as i could get them.

on the middle shelf we have a history of magic book, a wand, a snitch,
and some scrolls (which do open)

on the bottom is a spell cauldron and more scrolls
&
monster book of monsters

sitting on top is a finding hat, and a dobbie? i have to say my sculpting leaves a lot to be desired but i did kind of fall in love with this odd little guy even if he is ugly lol .

then we have hedwig, this poor guy was finished and sat drying on the window ledge and my cat took a dislike to him! and i had to do a bit of a rescue on him....

and of course we had to have his broomstick.

the cabinet itself is made from cardboard saved from deliveries, accetat and the hinges are from tim holts grungboard, the keyhole i cut on my craft robo a few times and layered then it was all painted
in acrylic paint, and finished with a couple of coats of varnish.

i hope you like it guys i had a lot of fun playing with this .

crafty hugs xx

Hello my lovelies
well i am here today to tell you about the new
That Craft Place challenge

theme
Anything goes

sponsored by
All Dressed Up

here's mine

this little girl is so cute dont you think, im practicing a lot with my colouring, and loving it, still loads to learn and improve on but its so relaxing to just lose yourself in a  couple of hrs colouring, ( i just cannot get the hang of leaving white bits though !)

So it a simple mat and layer and the image topper which I coloured using spectrum noir pens and then the pencils on top, the pencils really do add depth and vibrant colour.
I added some of the fabulous flowers and a bit of bling both available from That Craft Place .

Now just a little side note to apologize for neglecting my blog somewhat of late, I had kind of lost confidence in my craft, iv given myself a bit of a talking to and as you can see I had a little play and changed my blog a little , made myself a new banner (quite pleased with myself).
So anyway iv been playing and have made a couple of things just for fun which I will share with you all over the next couple of days.

Now come on and get your entries in :)

Hi guys
Well its my absolute favourite time of the year and my all tome favourite day is fast approaching and the theme for this fortnight challenge on the
That Craft Place challenge blog
So as you can imagine I had loads of fun with this one

I started with a cardboard circle cut out the centre and reinforced it with some paper Mache, then painted it black.
I then wrapped it in Halloween tinsel.
The next step was to make some clay witches hats ,pumpkins and spiders
once dry painted and varnished them.

I put the gorgeous wide printed Halloween ribbon across the middle and then added the clay bits with hot glue, added another Halloween ribbon to hang it and there you have it.
So easy and fun to make, all the ribbons , clay and paints can be got from Lisa at
That Craft Place.

hi guys
im here with the first of 2 blogs for you today, lol yeah i know its all or nothing with me right now,
anyway the first is for

theme is
Girls but no Pink

ok so here is my make

i made the bodyform from newspaper after watching a video on you tube by Angela Holt.
although the cheap doll hubby picked up for me was a little flat in the backside area so i had to modify and enhance her a little, lol the you tube video doesn't show how to make the stand so i had to work that out for myself, wasnt too hard , just a stick some more newspaper and a few circles cut and layered
once it was completely dry i painted with cream acrylic, and then covered with some lovely lace fabric my daughter gave me that she had cut of the bottom of a dress,( oh the joys of being short )
then a few flowers and metal embellishments from my stash of goodies from That Craft Place.
and finished with a couple of beads for the bodice topper .
i really loved making this, so you can expect to see a few variations over the next few months lol

here are a couple of different views excuse the bad pics i as you know by now a rubbish photograther lol

give it a go, you will get addicted to, and dont forget you can get all the lovely bits to decorate it from

im leaving you with these 2 cards made with

&
&

first up is Cowardly Lion the base card is 8x8 and i layered that with a backing paper from my craft studio, then i printed and cut some branch silhouettes, fussy cut them and layered onto the card, next i stamped some of the monkey silhouettes from the Flying monkey set , stamped fussy cut and then added little red gems for evil eyes, these i have hung from the trees , next the lion was stamped and coloured using spectrum noir pens, then fussy cut, as was his crown, then he was added.
the sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold, then i over stamped and embossed it in black

next up is the flying monkey

again i used a black card base adding a backing paper from my craft studio, i stamped all around using the winter tree, and the other monkey silhouette.
then The Monkey was  stamped and coloured fussy cut and added on foam sticky pads.
and to finish the sentiment was added in black.

we have a great new challenge for you over on

Autumn colours

i chose 2 coordinating backing papers and layered, mounted the image which is coloured with Spectrum noir pens onto the same base paper as the first layer, mounted it at an angle and added some metal corners, the bow is a wired ribbon so holds a lovely shape. next i took some leaves i had and arranged in one corner with just a single leaf peeking from the bottom opposite corner, i cut out some dragonflies and game them gem bodies, then added a few gems in the corners to finish it off.
i think shes quite pretty.

Hey guys
DT day, boy the weeks are flying by
this week i went for a masculine make , very unusual for me
as they are not my fave things to do,lol but i have to admit i enjoyed this one,

as you can see its a tag, its 4'' x 7'' so a nice size, first i covered it in a paper from my craft studio that i had faded quite a lot to give a very subtle patterned base, then i used the
i stamped the large pocket watch twice, fussy cut including cutting the center out of one, then layered them on quite thin sticky pads, then i added Triple thick brilliant brush on gloss glaze, filling the center to give the effect of a class cover, once dry i finished it off by rubbing Creative Expressions Patina Metallic Gilding Wax over the watch case.
to do the background i just randomly stamped using a variety of stamps from the set some in just black in some in silver embossing powder, i loved the effect of some embossing powder randomly sticking to places it wasn't meant to be. i added the sentiment take time to enjoy life using the words from the set , they kind of blend into the background a bit but at the same time are visible. then i took the gilding wax and just rubbed it into a few areas.
the watch was added , and instead of the usual ribbon though the hole i added a chain with a key on the other end and on the end attached to the watch i added a tiny dollar charm. and finished with black soot distress ink rubbed all around the edge.
this was a totally random make just playing and stamping, give it a go its a lot of fun .
hugs xx

Morning my lovelies :)
Can you believe its September already, I can feel the season changing and I love that we are moving into my gave season , anyway that's not why I'm here lol
Its a new month so a new challenge at
And what better theme as we move into the darker half of the year than
Make it Sparkle
Ok so here is my make

First I stamped in white/glitter embossing powder using the smallest  2 of the snowflakes set, then using Broken China & Distress Ink I blended the 2 colours all over the background, the embossed areas resist the ink giving a lovely effect.
Next I blended the same 2 colours on another piece of card then stamped the largest Snowflake in glue and sprinkled with glitter.
Using thin double sided tape I went around the edges and then glittered.
To finish I adds the beautiful Winters Miracle Verse.
