Hello all you lovely people, hope your all well, I'm really late posting this and can only apologise , but iv been a bit unwell this week and got myself a little behind and in a pickle!
I'm here today with my first guest dt post for Simply Steampunk... so exciting

Today is the  Re launch of the Classic collection Steampunk...
I have used Child of Morella

I so enjoyed doing this card even though i had left myself no time after doing one using the wrong image! seriously people what am i like!

Anyway here it is

I have gone for purples and lavenders and antique linen shades, which sadly don't show too well in the pic :/
Anyhow i started with a purple base and used a Do crafts Chronology paper in soft lavender and black .
onto this i matt another strip of the purple card, and a layer of some silver/ purple shimmery embossed paper.
I cut out varying sized f cogs in a cog patterns paper, and edged with dusty concord distress ink, i used the same in on a doily and layered the doily and the large cog on the card, wrapped a ribbon around the belly panel and after colouring the image with pro markers i matt it onto some more of the purple card and added to the card with sticky foam pads.
using the remaining cogs i layered them to resemble a flower adding a butterfly to the centre and also to the top right hand corner, i then finished it all off with a bow and a stickpin.

why don't you go over and take a look at all the fab Design team inspiration.

hugs x
