Anyways, i did end up getting 2 cat images to work with but i thought what the hell i choose this so i gotta make it work right?, wanner see it LOL

this image is great for Christmas cards, i did it in shades of blue, with silver matt and white flowers, then i added the little sleeping cat...
lol what do you think does it qualify for cats and dogs?.

well just in case i did a second card, using another cat image.
I cut the card on my craft robo, and added a paper from My craft studio , which is also where the balloons came from, i stamped all over the background with the birds from the Visible image Stamps  Free your imagination stamp set, so he looks like hes floating high in the sky, then added some blue paper lace, and stuck him on with foam pads.

Visible Image Stamps dt post

Hi all
Todays post is for Visible Image Stamps .....
Its my mums birthday today , and she has turned one of her spare rooms into her sewing room, so i decided to make her a wall hanging and what a perfect set of stamps to do the job The Sewing Room .I love this set, so many uses, so many ideas ... anyways this is what i came up with.
I started with an 8 x 8 board, which i covered in a realy lovely paper in soft pink..

I then used the Grunge Flourish stamps with acrylic paint to go around the edge..... (the stamps are perfectly fine to use with acrylic but be sure to wash imediatly with warm soapy water)
The flourish is a realy pale pink, and i also sponged around the edge with a cream, just using a normal kitchen sponge cut down and dipped in the paint.
While that was all drying i took the bodyform stamp from the set and stamped onto paper in black, i then scanned this into the computer , resized in My Craft studio, and printed out, cut it out and stuck to card
then cut it out again and this became my template, i traced around it onto card cut it out and kept this one for future use.
Finaly i painted it in brown, and covered in crackle glaze ( which doesn't show very well in this pic) and that was my dress form done.
Moving on i took the same stamp and went all over the background in Tattered rose Distress ink, to add depth and  a little more interest  to the background. Next i took a die cut birdcage, and distressed it with inks and acrylics and the good old fashioned crackle technic using pva glue, once it was dry i used a FLower soft wire, which i coloured with a pro marker, and twisted it around the cage to resemble vines, i added leaves and soem beautiful pastel pink, green, yellow blooms from Petal Lu.

I then Stamped the buttons in fired brick, Peeled paint, tattered rose and brushed corduroy, distress inks
coverd with glossy accents, cut out and punched holes once dried, i stamped the sewing thread bobbins in brushed corduroy, cutout and wrapped in various ribbons and fibres in shades of pink and some white and cream as you can see in this pic, i made a shelf out of a coffee stirer i cut off the ends and coloured with the brushed cordroy then coverd in crackle accents, while it was still wet i stuck the beads in for little hooks,ti which i stuck tinyhangers i had in my stash.
you can also see in this picture i used the stitches around the edges in brished cordroy, i took some different laces's and rolled to resemble bolts of cloth/ lace.
Then it was onto the bodyform, i cut a second one from card and cut off the stand and the top bit, to give it a bit of shape i covered it in kitchen tissue, then in a piece of old t- shirt fabric i had dyed with used teabags..then i stuck it to the whole bodyform.

Finaly i used some of the same t-shirt fabric this time leaving it white, and some pretty Lace to dressed the bodyform.
I added ribbon flowers and gems once done, and then  arranged it all on the board. the final step was to take some canvas cord and stamp the tape measure in fired brick all along it to make a hanging strip

And there you have it one pretty wallhanging, i hope my mum will love .

Morning all
Hope its nice where you are, not too cold....I'm freezing lol.
Anyway it Saturday and that means Visible Image Stamps Dt post, and guess what....its not a tag! LOL

I decided to make a Little trinket box, a nice little up cycled project.. it started life as a cheese triangle box, and changed into this...

I have used the Time after Time stamps set, i stamped the watch twice, coloured with pr markers and covered the face of one in glossy accents, i cut the centre from the non glossy watch and layered it on the glossy one for dimension. i stamped the sentiment and the wings, coloured the wings , and edged the torn out sentiment in black soot distress ink.

Then moving onto the box, first i painted it all with Gesso, then went over this around the edges with white acrylic paint. once dry i covered it in some black and white pattern paper, including the inside

I made a paper rose, and edged the petals with the black soot

Then added some black satin flowers with gems in the centre and some beaded sprays

I used some beads as feet

And trimmed the edge with bobble trim.

hope you like my Little project.

Friday, 15 March 2013

Hi guys omg i have had such an awful day i wont go into it its too depressing for words, and then i go and realise i almost forgot my Delicious Doodles very first post!! if i was a drinker this post would be very different lol

Anyway onto the good stuff, the new challenge over at Delicious doodles is Angles, and Teri has some fantastic angel digis...

This is my offering

I have used  Dark Valentine & Deaths head Hawkmoth. I took the colour inspiration from the moths firstly , being they are a yellowish colour , and the blue seemed to fit an angel of the night.
I chose papers from My craft studio, and changed the colours to fit , then i coloured the digi images in pro markers, layered the papers on silver mirri, and layered on the card base.
I cut some blue flowers by hand, and used some pretty little lemon yellow flowers from Petal Lu,

added gems to the blue flowers and some silver flourishes cut on the Craft Robo.

I used the moths because as an angel of the night she wouldn't have butterfly's but their dark cousins..what do you think?

so come on come play, head over to the Deliscious doodle challenge Blog and lets see your beautiful Angel creations..

id like to enter this into the following challenges..

Hi everyone
Saturday again, wow the weeks are flying by, we will be sunning ourselves before we know it!
Saturday is Visible Image stamps Dt post and today i have the last of the character tags for you. (well unless we get some new guys ;) )...so here he is

Edward..

isn't he a handsome fella.

OK so i took a tag, and covered it in dome brown K&Co script pattern paper, over this i stamped the fob watches from the Clock Time after Time set, then using the crackle from the same set, i masked the watches and stamped over the clock face, to give the impression of broken watches and time having stopped, i then used crackle accents over this to further enhance the broken glass look. I added a few crackles over the background too .
i printed out the word Forever, and crackle glazed it, then cut out and stuck on with sticky pads. Finally i stamped Edward coloured him with pro markers, cut him out and stuck him on with sticky pads, a little black ribbon was the final touch.
and here they all are together...

i really enjoyed doing these and i hope you enjoyed seeing them.

Hi guys
I am so so so excited, i don't know how iv kept quiet, but i can now shout it out, i got on the Delicious Doodles design team !!!
I will hopefully be showing you loads of fab project using the lovely Teri's images, and for those of you who like it a little dark there will be plenty :) but also lots and lots of pretty images too. so to start me off i made a little wall hanging for my room,

I used the image Butterfly Bliss, printed extra butterfly's and lots of extra flowers, once coloured , i cut the flowers losing a few feathers each time till i was left with just one feather, i then layered them all and topped with a gem, doesn't show too well but it has lots of dimension, i cut and coloured the extra butterfly's and covered in glitter, then mounted on the image with sticky pads.
Next i cut a piece of card to 4 x 6, and covered in pretty paper, inked the edges with distress ink Milled Lavender. i punched a few strips of white paper to give a lace edge, which i again coloured with Milled Lavender, then i took some fancy lace from my stash and layered then all finishing off with some lavender ribbon, i stuck this ti the bottom edge of the card, i then added just some paper lace to the right hand edge of the cardboard and the left hand edge of the image, i added the image on sticky pads, and to finish i used some purple fibre which i wrapped around the top, and again over the ribbon, and finished with a bow, and a little ribbon to hang it with.

I do hope you like my little make,

And i want to say a big thank you to Teri and the DT for choosing me i am really looking forward to working with you all

Visible Image Saturday Blog

Happy Saturday everyone
Well you must know by now what that means :) Saturday means Visible Image Dt post, and yes you guessed it its another tag LOL almost done, next week will be the last one, then you will have the full set lol.

OK so this week we are seeing Bradly in all his finery... why is it always the girls who get seem to get glammed up? well not this time, move over Madonna Bradly is Vogueing lol

So i started with the same tag size and shape as all the others, covered in a lovely blue paper from my stash, and used my all time fave Grunge flourish to the top and bottom in Broken china distress ink, added a bit more ink around the edges to soften it, i then used 2 of the sentiments from The Sewing room set,  then stamped Bradly separately and coloured him with pro markers, popped him on sticky pads, and there he is looking rather dapper. to finish i added a nice blue ribbon.

Hope you like it.
You will find all the character stamps on the website, pop over and have a look .
