morning all
I'm here again with my weekly post for Visible Image, AND its challenge time!!
this months theme?? what else but Christmas... think twinkling lights, cosy nights, mulled wine ,, lovely!
and of course the pressies lol...which brings me to my DT make..

this is a lovely Little project if you want a treat to give to a friend, i used the Christmas Collage stamp om some burgundy card, then i used glossy accents on the tree and star and whilst it was still wet i covered it in glitter, once dry i brushed of the excess glitter and tadar! one supper sparkly dimensional tree :).
ok so wheres the treat

untie the beautiful bow to reveal....

a lovely box of chocs, mmmm who can resist so lovely dark choc? not me lol

so there you have it, a lovely treat, or you could put thank you notes or notelets inside, whatever you chose I'm sure it will go down well.

so lets see what your wonderful entries, you could win yourself £10 to spend on the visible Image website, maybe treat yourself to the new characters launched yesterday ... and of course top 3 get a badge for their blog .

for my DT project this week i chose the Free your Imagination set, and made this pencil holder for my hubby's desk, i chose a backing paper from MCS changed it to a nice blue. Once cut to size, i stamped the sentiment and bird, (such a lovely splodgy bird i just adore it), then added the stamped ink splats . i stamped the large and small feather in black , then inked over this with Broken China distress ink to give the lovely blue effect, i then covered this in glossy accents , once dry it gives a lovely finish and a bit of stability to the card . i stuck the paper to the bean tin, added my feather and a little black lace , not too much as its for a guy lol. so there you are two little gift ideas.

and don't forget to check out the new releases Isabella, Edward and Edgar...

hugs x
