hi everyone
well what a day! first medal in mens team gymnastics in 100 years! ok so we almost had silver ,but hey we got a medal!! so proud of our boys.
So onto what iv been up too, i have been going around looking at blogs, seeing challenges and thinking ohh that looks good, then i completely forget where it was..so taking advice from a friend (yes you miss Andree) to get myself a notebook, i decided to make myself a little something something to keep my notes in, and this is a little project i came up with , im also going to enter this into a challenge over on http://sarahhurleychallenges.blogspot.co.uk/, the challenge is to alter something, and i chose this

its only 6'' x 5 1/2'' so a nice size to carry around in  my bag.
i painted it with gesso , distressed the edges a little with tattered rose distress ink, then added some papers from MCS , torn and again distressed with the tattered rose.

finaly i embelished with some of my handmade flowers a couple of flourishes some lace/ribbon, and a bookplate?? (not sure if thats what they are called) saying Notes.
