well here we are 2017!

and my first make of the year is for the new 

Petal Lu challenge

im going to come clean and admit im not in love with this one, 

 i think its the background is too dark and busy,

i loved how she was coloured, but its too delicate for the background but to be totally i was running out of time , and the idea looked so much better in my head lol

i will redo this and come back with it but as today was the new challenge i have gone with it for now,

she is adorable!

here she is called

Molly Fairy

 iv coloured her with copics and pencils

the base paper is from gabriella paper pack, i printed it twice and fussy cut the butterflys from one sheet and shaped the wings a little and mounted on top of the other sheet and added tiny flat back pearls as bodys.

i mounted the  image on sticky pads and mounted on the card.

i finished it off with a fancy corner , some pearls and a single flower with some fussy cut leaves.

there is another version of this little beauty without wings called

its time for a new 

Petal Lu challenge

as always its anything goes

i adore this little lady from wee stamps, i cannot for the life of me think of her name, and for some reason my computer isnt recognizing the font used on the wee stamps site!

but thats where you will find her:)

i have used digital papers i altered in my craft studio from pink to blue, i matt these onto a shimmery blue paper, and mounted onto a white 8x8 card.

the image is coloured with copic markers and pencils.

i did a double ribbon bow and added a garland fo the wonderful petal lu blooms around the bottom . oh and added a few snowflakes.

Hi guys

I have been lucky enough to be able to play with some beautiful

new images from

Conie Fong Art

This little darling is called

Holly poinsettia

I loved colouring her up, I used a mix of copics and prism colour pencils.

the papers are from Adrienne Looman beautiful chic collection.
i matt and layered the 8x8 card base, added a doilie, and the coloured ,mated image.

next i cut a picket fence and ran it through the cuttlebug with a crafters companion textured folder to get the wood grain.

to complet the card i had cut loads of tiny leaves and made a wreath , garland and corner piece, i added flower stamens to look like berries.

a pretty pink shimmery card

its a quite simple design, just layers of the one paper design which i edged with thin double sided tape and glittered, the image is coloured with copics.

a piece of lace some gems and the perfect finishing touch the spray of beautiful petal lu blooms, look at those lush pinks!

well im the worst dt memebr ever , i so so sorry Lu

yesterday the latest 

Petal Lu 

challenge went live and i have completely lost track 

of the days and missed posting my card!

please dont sack me Lu lol

as they say better lat than never so here is my make

as you can see im on the christmas cards lol

the image is

she was coloured with prisma colour pencils then fussy cut, 

the papers are from Prima nothern coutries paper collection, i have glittered the balls on the base layer with stickles, and around the edged of each paper i used double sided and glamour dust.

i cut the swirl out of white card, coloured with a very pale ice blue and then covered in pva and more glamour dust,(well you cant have too much glitter at christmas can you).

then to complete i used some small fussy cut leaves and some beutiful red and cram blooms from Petal LU of course.

well its November!

can you believe it time is going way too fast, so i figured 

i best get a start on the Christmas cards

so for this fortnights anything goes

Petal Lu challenge 

i have done my first one

i have gone for a sexy Kennyk Stamps image shes called

Christmas hottie

i made an 8x8 easel card and stuck with traditional colours of red gold green

she is coloured with prisma colour pencils then fussy cut.

all the papers are from 

Bo bunny father christmas paper pack

i have added tiny red half pearls to the wreath, and some teeny crackers i made, added a gold ribbon and finished with a large red and 2 small green blooms from Petal Lu, the colours where a perfect match.
