so onto my make

its an a4 wall hanger, the background is believe it or not a picture i took in a local cemetry, i changed the colour in My Craft Studio, added different layers , using digital flowers and hand drawn bits plus painted effects, once this was all dry i printed and coloured the image with spectrum Noir markers and pencils, then fussy cut her out and added her to the backing.

i just adore this image and had a lot of fun working with her, she is from

 Stitchy Bear Stamps 

and is called

The Slayer

i will be able to give this digi image away to one lucky commenter 

and  this candy from me

Morning all

Today ill be doing two posts this first one is for

That Craft Place Challenge 

Its the turn of the mixed media girls and as always the theme is

Anything goes

I have used this lovely MDF Heart

Don't forget to check out all the fab alterable MDF pieces available from That Craft Place.

I started with the heart which I left as is, no gesso or paint used on the base because I love the colour of the MDF.

Next I found some vintage illustrations of the heart, I printed these on tissue paper, the using cosmic shimmer , matt glue seal and glaze , I lay down the first sheet with the heart and script, once this was dry I added the single heart, once dry I added colour to this heart with intense pencils, then this was sealed with a very thin layer of gloss glaze.

I have used red , antique gold and copper embossing powders around the edge, then gently distressed it a little with a bit of sandpaper .

Next I took some thin copper wire and made some barb wire to wrap the heart, I poked small holes and glued the wire in place.

I also made a longer piece to make a hanger by wrapping around and through the top holes.

Then I added some flowers, leaves and a skull, then to finish it all off I added a lovely bit of being from my stash .

hey guys sunday again, where are the weeks going , time is just flying by.

so its time for another 

Glitter n Sparkle challenge 

and this weeks theme is use something beginning with G

i went with glitter 

my image is 

Smoochie Halloween from The Stamping Boutique

she is a super cute little image but i gotta be honest i struggled this week, just couldn't seem to get my head in the game so i hope you think this one is ok.

so its a black 8x8 card base, matt with a purple paper that iv had in my Digi stash for ages and is originaly green but i changed in my craft studio, i have used thin double sided tape around the edge and glittered , i did the same around the image which is coloured with my spectrum noir pens, the spots and stars are also glittered.

this was the point at which i got stuck! i had a friend staying for a few days and didn't get craft time so i just had to think on the layout.

and this is what i came up with, a birdcage with a bat kinda escaping lol, a few loose bats. ( all Glittered, a fence and some trick or treat bunting!

the fancy matt is also from this collection, 

the image wasprinted and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and Pencils, then fussy cut.

i then made acorns , dog roses , misltoe and holly.

i used a 6x6 black card printed and coloured the image with spectrum noir pens, the sentiment i made in My Craft Studio, and printed , they where then matt onto pink then green and put on the card base, the branches i cut on my craft robo, and the leaves are a ribbon trim i got form That Craft Place, i simply snipped the leaves of the vine and stuck them where i thought was best.
