hes just so cute

this is a 6x6 white card blank, layered with a main piece of pattern paper, then layered with 3 smaller pieces, all have been distressed.

then the image was printed coloured and fussy cut .

my buttons are the 2 hearts layerd up on the side design.

hi everyone well what a grey miserable day out there,

ok so this started off as an idea talking about teenage girls, (my sister in law has 4 girls aged from twin newborns , a 2 year old and an 8 year old,)

so what are teenage girls  like , moody or angelic

depends on the day the mood and the weather lol

anyway enough blathering here it is

now you will have a heads up before you enter the danger zone (bedroom)

i painted the mdf with gesso, then layered different sheets of printed tissue paper,

the girls are printed and coloured with Spectrum noir pens and pencils.

then fussy cut and glued down, the tiles are also available on the Etsy store,

these where printed cut and topped with glossy accents.

the tissue is glued with cosmic shimmer matt glue, glaze & seal.

so pop over and get a look at all the inspiration and then get your mixed media head on and play along

Stepper cards

my beautiful image is

Fireflies from Sweet Pea Stamps

isnt she just beautiful, she just made me think of autumn, i printed a sheet of card with an autumn leaf background, then cut into the stepper card shape.

the image was printed and coloured with spectrum noir pencils, then the wings glittered and finally i fussy cut it out.

i printed and fussy cut a selection of leaves and a sentiment, once the image and sentiment where in place i added the leaves on foam pads in various depths to give even more dimension.

im quite pleased with how she turned out .

isnt is beautiful? , i have coloured with Spectrum noir pens, and finished off with spectrum pencils

she is simply mounted onto a blue then purple layer, then onto the white base card.

a double layer of purple ribbon, 3 flowers i had made myself then finished off with a few leaves scattered here and there.

hey guys, hope your all well

i am up to my eyes in paper wedding flowers!

my sister is renewing her wedding vows next weekend and im making all 

the flowers favour boxes ect, so im busy busy.

but todays post is for 

That Craft Place Mixed Media challenge 

and my make is a little something i promised to make for Lisa a long time ago  :/

 Witches Cabinet 

its taken me a long time to get this finished in between other things, making all the parts ect

i love making miniatures though so its a real labour of love.

we have the witches besom, and cauldron.

and inside we have some spell books, spell scrolls, a pumpkin,disk of incense,

a mandrake root, a bunch of herbs a wand and bottles of smell ingredients, 

powdered vampire fang 

dragons blood

bat wings

eye of newt

essence of arachnid

and

magic herb mix .

on top of the cabinet  we have a dish of mushrooms, a candlestick and some spare candles

if you fancy having a play at making one for yourself , you can get the clay acrylic paint, little jars

ect from Lisa, (pop along to the fb shop and check whats in stock).

every thing is sealed with cosmic shimmer matt glue seal and glaze, i just love this stuff for finishing and protecting any of your mixed media projects
