hey guys
new challenge at
theme
Easle cards
i had this pretty little image from bugaboo
she was coloured with spectrum noir pens, then fussy cut, her wings are glittered and her flowers have liquid pearl centers.
i stamped the scalpop background and coloured with Caran D'ache water colour crayons, to give a soft wash of colour.
the edge is glittered, the dots are liquid pearls, and then i finished it off with flowers.
to make the base i drew around the topper for the shap on a piece of folded card leaving a small part at the top uncut for the hinge, did the same soft colour wash and added a sentiment strip for the stopper.

hope you like it

hello me lovelies
its time for a new
i loved this theme
No cards

means i was free to run wild with my idea lol ;)

i had so much fun doing this make, i have to admit im getting
a bit addicted to the whole mannequin dressing thing.

any ways here is my make

the bodice is made from paper mache, i painted it with white acrylic,
the decoupaged with tissue paper, printed with a pretty poppy design.
then i added the poppy petals which i cut from crepe paper, then a layer of lace fabric to which i added lace and red stickles to the bottom, under this is a double layer of  printed tissue paper with lace on the bottom.
i made a tiny poppy for the centre front, and finished with green trim and tiny half pearls for the lacing on the back.

the tree is made from a bamboo stick which i broke and then covered in paper mache.
the n i added it to the base which is cardboard and clay.
once dry i painted and added flower soft to the base and some leaves to the branches.
to complete it i made a tiny hanger and hung the dress from the branch.

i hope you like it.

i have to say guys the dt have done outstanding this time get over and have a look i just know you will be inspired.

hugs x

time for another challenge at

theme
Use a Butterfly

i have used this beautiful little fairy image from
she is called

i printed then coloured her with inktense pencils, i cut her out in an oval leaving her wings poking out a little, the cut a second oval and coloured this with Dust concord distress ink.
i took 2 coordinating papers and hand sewed around the edge with an orange cotton, then layered them on the white base card.
i printed the sentiment and mat onto a larger circle also coloured with dusty concord.
then i added a ribbon,(which is actually purple but looks blue in this pic), and some flowers i have been making this week
and to finish i have added 3 deaths head hawk moths (night butterfly's)to compliment her little skull bag.

ok so everyone loves butterfly's, so let us see your lovely makes.

Hello you lovely lot, its time for a new
theme
 Alter something

i have done a set of canvases
these are quite large but i cant remember the actual dimensions and they are now hanging in my mothers bedroom :/ but the ladies are each about a4 tall if that makes sense!

ok so i basically painted the canvas in a thin acrylic wash to get the slightly mottled effect.
the ladies are printed onto card then fussy cut, each one was then coloured with spectrum noir pens for the skin, i then paper pierced each outfit and added a few little embellishments such as the little black bow, diamante necklace, or the tiny flat back pearls on the handbag.
for the roses on the backgrounds i fussy cut some deco patch tissue paper (nightmare fiddly lol)
and glued down with Deco mache decoupage glue.
once dry i stuck down the ladies and gave the whole lots a coat of the glue to seal it all.

hope you like them guys

head on over to the challenge blog to see all the amazing dt makes
and of course to add your entry to the challenge
