hes such a happy little guy
i have coloured him in a bright sunny yellow& summery blue to cheer me on this horrible grey day.
the base is a yellow card, and i have  stamped over it with the
then the sentiments from
and finished randomly stamping over with the diamond ,clubs, heart and spade stamps from Harley Jester set, i then made a large playing card stamped it with the word Joker from the set and added Harley, i finished it all off by going around the edges with Broken china distress ink.

happy hump day guys , time for my weekly Dt post for
this week i decided to do 2 cards using the same basic layout one for a girl and one for a boy

the girl

  Clara

the boy

ok so the instructions for both are exactly the same, brown base card, blue or pink mat, then brown pattern paper, blue or pink clock face on a brown mat, then the image coloured Blue.brown or pink/brown .
then for Clara i printed the lady , body form and tag, which says Time is a Great Storyteller i then coloured some parts in pink, then added a spool of cotton charm and a button charm.
Edgar is done the same until the toppers, and for him i chose some cogs and a steam punk caterpillar,
his tag says Time is the wisest Councillor of all, his charms are an Owl and a tiny steam punk cog.
so what do you think? its quite a good exercise, give it a try, feel free to use this layout
hugs xx

morning guys
todays post is for the new challenge at
Artistic Inspirations
the theme is Up up and Away
or
Anything goes

i went with anything goes because my image doesn't say up up  and away to me

i started with a background paper, then made a scene in My Craft Studio, layering the flowers on and the sentiment, then i printed the cat and colored with Spectrum noir markers, then fussy cut him out.
i then ptinted more flower to layer over the cat and some flowers around him so he looks like he is sitting among them.
i think it turned out quite pretty.

so popover to the Artistic Inspirations blog for mor inspiration from the dt, then get busy and get your enty in
hugs x

you must use a Delicious Doodles image
i have used

the base is an 8 x 8 black card, i printed the map and did the old tea bag dye thing,
cut it out, crumpled it up and went over with a brown ink pad to  highlight the crumples.
next i printed and coloured Gothicka  with spectrum noir markers, fussy cut her and added to the card, i found a pic of a flag and some doubloons on the net, printed and cut them out.
then i finished it off with her pearls and gems , after all a pirate has to have her treasure ;)

morning guys
well here i am with day 2 of this weeks
makes, boy its been crazy here what with one thing and another,
hope life calms down soon lol anyway here is my make

i have used
& the sentiment from

first i sponged the base card in shabby shutters & broken china distress ink
to give the effect of a landscape .
next i stamped the forest background in Foliage Big and Juicy ink, once the stamp was inked i went over it with pin needles distress ink, using the edge of the ink pad to give the effect of vines on the tree.
then i added some grass in pine needles.
the butterfly was stamped in black and then painted with inktense, while it was drying i added some white splatter to the background.
to make the scroll banner i used tea dye distress ink and just rubbed the ink pad over the paper on both sides, stamped the sentiment and then ripped the paper around, curled the ends and stuck in place, then the butterfly was added and a bit of bling just had to go on his body :).
then the whole thing was mounted onto coordinating card.

hope you like it
