Morning everyone, hope your all getting a bit of this lovely sunshine
There is a new challenge starting today at
The theme is
 Buttons
My make started life as a kettle box

I printed some paper and the put it back though the printer printing the buttons background from
Ditzie Digi Designs,i then printed the buttons background another 4 times, then I coloured the buttons 92 in total!. Then each was glazed with triple thick glaze from declare available from that craft place, once dry each was cut out and the little holes for sewing the button on was pierced or cut out with a blade according to how small it was, next I went round all the edges and inside the holes with a marker to cover any white, (I hate white edges) then each was threaded with a pink or beige cord or the tiny tiny ones I used pink cotton.

On the box I used brown cord over the printed chain to hang the buttons on.
I edged the box with the pink cord & some lace.
Moving onto the top,i made flowers cut on the craft robo,(took me far longer than I thought it would lol). but I think they are rather pretty, iv added some swirly leaf flourishes.

And there you have it from a kettle box to  pretty storage box for my craft room.
I hope you like it
Don't forget to checkout the
Ditzie Digi Design Easy store
for all the wonderful digit's you could play with.
And come join in the challenge on the blog.http://thatcraftplaceblog.blogspot.co.uk/

hey guys , its Wednesday and that means only one thing

so between trying to sort this house into some sort of order, i have managed to have a little play and i came up with this.

my sons old room is int he process of becoming the studio so i thought i would make a sign,
and as my  husband will also be using it to record his gaming voice overs when you turn it over..

i printed some papers and covered some cardboard and cut to shape( i use up a lot of cardboard this way)
i then coloured the letters with spectrum noir markers, and stamped the Free your imagination sentiment ,
from the Free your Imagination set and the feather which has dots going to it from the sentiment as if the feather is a quill and has written the sentiment ( oh waffle).
i chose this sentiment because its perfect for when you create because you really should Free your imagination and let it fly.
then i went around the edges with my all time fave stamp, Grunge flourish , and on the studio side i used the Ink splats set to randomly splat colours as you would when your painting to finish i edged it in some black lace washi tape and some cording, and added cord to hang.

its a little rough and ready looking, but i like the fact its got that kinda lived in look , if you know what i mean lol.

hope you like it guys xx

Elegant Emma Debonair Bradley and Once upon a time by Visible Image

OK guys final week of the c&c samples for

and today i bring the Elegant Emma and Debonair Bradley together

these two work so well together it would be rude to keep

so here they are all dressed up for a posh do

i have also used the Once upon a time set on this one for the sentiment
i love the colours of this one iv used fabric as one of the layers to add a little extra detail, other than that it is just our couple and some pretty papers stamping and a ribbon.

i think i showed this one as a sneaky peek but ill add it anyway seeing as its them together
this one is for those amongst us who appreciate the darker side ;)

every time i see this i just think of that song.. just give me the night ..lol
being a night owl myself  i have to say this appeals to me a midnight tryst with a handsome dark hairs Mr
i made the tiny rose , took me a while and i got covered in in, (Bliss)
i have also used the once upon a time set on this one, that castle looks so  romantic in the moonlight

so that's it the end of my C&C samples made with these wonderful new stamps sets, time to get sorting some new makes now the house is at last straight and looking like a home and not a squat LOL

afternoon all, here is my second post of the day and this one is for

their theme this week

Add some Green

my image is from Sassy studio
and shes called

Pageant Queen

she is coloured in spectrum noir pens and fussy cut. all the papers are from My craft Studio, i chose the green paper with pink flowers because i think pink and green are so nice together, the first layer has the large pattern the second has the smaller pattern and the final layer which she is mounted on i faded out but it is still the same pattern, a few feux stitches, couple of handmade flowers and a greeting and they you have it one pretty quite girly card.

so now its your turn, your card doesn't have to be quite as green as mine lol,
just add some green and join in the fun .

the theme is

Mothers day / Flowers

i used imaged from

Ditzi digi designs on Etsy

i have combined them and made 2 cards this first one is a clean and simple
how cool is that flower head! i love it, so chose to highlight it on this card

its printed and coloured 3 times, coloured cut and layered , then matt onto a plain cream square and then a white scallop square, this is place onto the left side of a 4  x 6 card, which is simply finished with a ribbon that has mum printed on it .

this second card is just so cute, playing around with the digi flowers , i printed lots and coloured and cut then stuck to the card at various depths to look like a field of flowers and then the pretty little girl is printed coloured and cut, and added isn't she pretty out picking flowers for her mum :).

the background and sentiment where created in My Craft Studio.

hope you can come play along with us at

Morning lovely peeps
today there is a new challenge at
and some exciting new Dt members all set to inspire you with amazing work done with Teri's fab images
to this challenge the theme is
cool huh,
i went with an altered piece, a cheese triangle box, transformed into a notepaper box

i covered the box in some Green pattern paper, printed the Celtic Frame to fit nicely on the top, and the Celtic fairy to fit inside it, once they where printed ( separately) i coloured them with my Spectrum noir pens, ( that frame took forever!), then i fussy cut them out and layered on to the box.
i took some gold thread and braided it to the right thickness and glued around the top and bottom edge.
then coloured a piece of lace to match and added more gold braid around the top edge of the lace, then this was stuck around the middle of the lid to slightly overhang and cover the join between lid and base.
to ease opening the box i added a small ring charm.

and inside?

using the Celtic ring i made some notepaper, cut and filled the box with it

so that's my make i hope you like it and come along and play with us

Visible Image challenge March 2014

well look at us here again and another month over, who's thinking of Christmas cards yet?? lol
OK well back to march and the  new Visible Image challenge
this month is a super easy theme
your fave stamp/stamps
(visible image ones of course)
ok so you all must know by now that my all time fave is the Grunge flourish, i have used it on so so many makes and from every angle possible lol.
for this challenge i have added to my all time fave a couple new faves the flower silhouettes from the
  More than Words sets.
so super versatile and will add interest to any card be it as a background or a main feature.
so here's my make

iv gone for ivory, vintage pink and a soft mauve colour scheme.
after cutting the tag out of  ivory linen card, i sponged all over with , Tattered rose distress ink, then edged it with dusty concord distress ink, then i went all around the edges with my fave Grunge flourish.
i stamped the flowers 3-4 times in the 2 distress ink  and cut them out, then i stamped the stems and cut out, after blinging them up with some gems, i arranged on the tag and stuck down raising some up on sticky pads, then i added the ribbon and bling across the bottom, and a nice big bow for the flowers.
i think its quite pretty, very feminine.
so whats your fave stamp? come and show us we would love to see your makes .
hugs xx
