hi guys
iv been playing with a digi from

i have used Miss Lily

isn't she fab!

i have  gone for a really kind of minky ( is that a word) pink and teal with copper, i started with a teal 8 x 8 base card and using the backing paper from Ditzies ( shhh sneaky peek) i changed the colour in my craft studio and printed it out, once it was layered up i used some diamond glaze, on one clock face i the upper right hand corner, and found some lace which was white so i  coloured with a spectrum noir pen to match.
i then cut a large cog  on my craft robo machine and covered this in tin foil , then coloured with , butterscotch, espresso, and just a little eggplant, alcohol inks and to finis hit off i burnished with Creative expressions cast bronze gilding wax. i printed Miss Lilly and coloured her with my spectrum's, then i did some paper piecing on the gown, and added shading with spectrum's to give a bit of depth, paper piecing is a fab technique but can look a little flat, adding shade with colour gives it a little life.
OK another 2 sneaky peeks, ( I'm so naughty!).
the flowers and the heart have been printed the heart was double printed to get the same paper design as the top layer of her skirt, i then did the same thing adding shade with pens then i used diamond glaze over all the black pattern to raise it up slightly, once dry i rubbed over carefully with the cast bronze gilding wax. layered it onto matching teal card and added the hanging keys

this has now become a tag that tucks behind the big cog which you can remove and add a message to the back if you wish

so to finish i used the flowers, printed and coloured and burnished over with Creative expressions Patina gilding wax,, then fussy cut, ( those stalks and leaves where a challenge lol) and then cut some tiny cogs on the robo, coloured and coloured and burnished with the cast bronze gilding wax, so everything has that metallic look, which sadly doesn't show too great in the pics.

anyway there you have it , my little play and a couple of sneaky peeks, lol

so any of you fancy playing with the wonderful new Ditzie Design Digis
here's a chance for you

hey guys, I'm well late with this post (sorry Teri) haven't been too good today but as they say better late than never huh :/ i hope so anyway lol
OK well its a new challenge at Delicious Doodles and the theme is Bloom & Yellow
so i was colouring the beautiful Lilleth and working away on the card when i realise i had already coloured the ivy fairy! so today  you get two from me :)

This is Ivy fairy, and iv combined her with the Ivy corner.
its a 6 x 6 card, with a mat of pattern paper that i had printed, i then run it trough the printer again to print the Ivy corners, i then printed the corners again and coloured and cut out each leaf and added it to the printed vine on the card, this gives lovely depth, i printed coloured and cut the fairy, glittered her wings and fussy cut her out, added a doily and then the fairy on sticky pads.

and now for Lilleth

this one is 8 x 8. cream card base mat with gold miri, then a pattern paper, Lilleth is coloured with spectrum noir pens matt onto gold miri and added to the card, i added a gold ribbon, and then going against putting gold and silver together i added a silver ribbon and bead trim which i though went quite well seeing as i had made her hair piece silver. i then cut some Lilly's coloured them with spectrum's and made them up, finishing them off with a peal in the centre.
and there you go, hope you like them and come play along at

hi guys
just a quickie to show you a little wall hanging i made yesterday while the builders sorted out the damp in the lounge, finally its only take since mid November !
but its done so I'm happy lol
back to the piece, i have uses some super super cute digis from Ditzie Digi Designs
and this is what i came up with

isn't she just adorable, and look how cute the mushrooms are...well i couldn't get into the cupboard where all my canvases are stored so i did the only sensible thing and cut up a packing box, lol, having finally got all my books unpacked and onto the bookcases i found that actually fit the space i wanted them in  i happen to have a fair bit of cardboard laying around and what better way to get rid of it than to up cycle,
so i cut a 7x7'' square, and covered with a paper from My craft studio that had a mushroom on it, i faded it down so the colour was nice and muted, i stamped on this with a paperartsy stamp jm 16 which is bubbles , i then coloured these with shimmery watercolours, and it doesn't really show but i went all around the edges in a vine patterned stamp.
next i printed the Mushroom house and the He loves me ,he loves me not faerie, and coloured with spectrum noir pens, i glittered her wings in glamour dust, then printed and coloured a few more Mushroom house's in various sizes, i also stamped some Lady bugs, Dragonflies and what seemed like a hundred leaves lol
then i spent a goof few hrs fussy cutting them all out , which i have to say i do find very relaxing.
then the fun part of actually arranging it all on the cardboard/canvas.
its really quite dimensional and it think it came out quite nice.
oops that quick post wasn't very quick was it....
hope you lie it

if you check out the Visible Image blog you will find more inspiration and links to all the Dt blogs where we are each sharing a sneaky peek this week.

so mine is this

the gorgeous Bradley & Emma children of the night out and about romancing under the blood moon....
the base is just black card, to which i have added hills using Creative Expressions Pearl Moon gilding wax.
then i stamped the wonderful fairy tale castle from the Once upon a time set, and embossed in silver,
I cut disk of white and added some Worn lipstick distress ink as shading to represent the moon, then i went all over this with the same Pearl Moon gilding wax, then a few smudges of the Worn Lipstick and Peal moon wax, gave the effect of a moonlight sky,
Bradley and Emma are coloured with Spectrum noir pens, fussy cut and added on sticky pads, then i hand made a tiny red rose for Bradley to give to his lady Emma.

good chance to practise with my spectrum's..

Hi guys :)

today i bring you my dt make for the new

Make a box
the whole box is designed around the beautiful Madam Payraud's vintage label, from do crafts Papermania, i got quite a few bits from this range from Lisa at that craft place so you will be seeing a few projects with them i just love them.

i really did enjoy making this one, it is covered in a beautiful paper from K & Co that i have been hording in my stash since forever lol ,

once i had covered the box, i added some dark burgundy lace along the edges of top and bottom, then added a vintage cream lace on top of this.

once i had placed the label on top of the box, i then added lots of gorgeous flowers all from that craft place

i really love it, and although i would love it to be full of yummy chocs it is now actually full of flowers i got from a dear friend as part of a Christmas gift.

hi all
here we are again Wednesday so its
i decided to use the fab new character

isn't he a fab happy guy!

i decided to do him in the colours of my old gymnastics club ( i was a coach , in case you wondered lol)
so the base is a really dark blue 6 x 6 card, onto this a added a matt that i made using a white piece of card, onto this i stamped the Grunge Check Background and embossed with clear powder, then i used Dusty Concord and Spiced Mustard distress inks, sponged over and blended into each other.
then i cut the frame on my craft robo, and stamped the heart , diamond , spade and club.
also sponging ink on the edges, then i stamped the let me entertain you on 2 small tickets, and finished off with some bells, i think its quite a fun card.

Visible Image Feb challenge

Oh my Days!! (as my daughter would say)
Can you believe its Feb already, can only mean one thing a new month a new challenge at
OK and who can guess the theme? its tough one being Feb and all lol
yeah its LOVE...
now i have a confession to make here, i was busy working on my piece having fun stamping and gluing and almost done i think oh Buggering hell ! i had completely forgot the theme lol, but the lovely Helen said well its a love of sewing!! saved :D
and here it is...

this is the top,

and a side view

the side view is a better colour, for some reason i cant get the top pic in the right light but you get the idea .

i used just a plain paper mache box, measuring 6 x 3 1/2 ''
first i covered it in some paper i printed from my craft studio using Deco Mache, then i went on to the stamping, using one of my fave sets The Sewing Room its such a wonderful feminine set and i always want to dress up the body form lol but i refrained this time and dressed up the box instead ....using tulle and lace and a beautiful ribbon rose trim,
I have used the body form, buttons and
thread bobbins plus the be Unique sentiment from the set but you still have so many stamps in the set to work with you could go on and on with them.

so what is it you Love? make a project  be it a card a tag or an altered piece and show us the love xx
