next i added a strip of grey down the centre and edged it with the bottom of the grunge flourish stamp.

i stamped the roses onto some pale pink card and shaded with pro markers, then added with foam pads and to finish i used the word Forever from the Immortal love set.

Morning all
well here i am with my last Delicious Doodles  make for the
iv really enjoyed this, but i have to say i truly admire the girls who have done all 31 days !

i have used Black Widow  to alter my diary for next year, i printed some black spiderwebish paper, and covered the book, next i printed the image to size and coloured with pro markers ( her hair looks orange but is actually red, just couldn't get the lighting right :/
anyway after it was coloured and cut i stuck it down and covered the whole thing in acrylic gloss medium, so it has a lovely shinny tough cover.

to finish it off i added a bit of spiderweb ribbon down the spine a couple of silver corner details and 2 silver
spider charms

pop over to the Delicious Doodles Blog for lots more inspiration and your chance to win this image xx

hey guys..
theme is
Halloween

OK so here is my make

i thought the pumpkin image was really pretty so although the theme is Halloween i didn't want to go all creepy with it, so using the lovely colours of Autumn i found some nice Halloween papers which i mat and layered, then cut a scalloped circle in the same paper as the base layer, and mat this with a circle i had coloured with antique linen flex marker, then coloured the pumpkin image with pro markers, cut it out and added glitter to the swirly curlys, then stuck this into the circle.
next i took some flowers , and coloured the large one in orange and yellow , and the little ones in the antique linen, the little ones i then dabbed with glue and dipped in glitter.
next i printed a page of leaves and fussy cut them out , and inked the edges, arranged them on the card with the flowers  and to finish added a few little gems.

make number 2 is one i have done to cover another dt member

i thought this cute little trick or treat witch would make a fab little goodies bag, i found a template on the My craft Studio encyclopedia disk, and used it to cut out the shape from this cute paper which i faded out a bit so as not to distract from the image. once it was all cut and glued together i added the image which is coloured with pro markers, stuffed it with orange tissue paper, and added a black lace bow.

if you head on over to the Glitter n Sparkle Challenge Blog you will find lots more inspiration and the
Mr linky to add your make, good luck x

hello all
theme this week is
Non Scary Halloween

here is my Dt card
i have used
Pumpkin Family Portrait, Pumpkin corner, & happy Helloween

i have made the pumpkin family into an over sized atc kind of thing, and tucked it into the pocket made by the Pumpkin corner.

i matt the happy Helloween, and added it to the base, so once the pumpkin family is tucked into the pocket the message is hidden.

i added tiny gems to the pumpkin corner to finish it all off.

so this is the week for you guys who don't like the scary stuff to come and play with a Halloween theme.

the swirly bat, and lamp stand bat as i call it lol where cut on the craft robo, then coloured glittered and glossed the hanging bottles i cot on the robo too and coloured and glossy accented, and added some runes.
and of course Blanch was coloured with pro markers and cut, once assembled i finished with a metal corner, and there you have it my make for day 10.

Tuesday, 8 October 2013

hi guys , I'm just here to show you a project i made for a friend, its not a dt make is not a challenge thing its just a gift i made for someone, hope you like it

first i cut 2 pieces of cardboard to size, (just from cardboard boxes) i painted then with gesso to seal and give a good base.
i created some backing paper in My Craft studio and printed out 4 copies, 2 larger than the piece and 2 to fit it. once the gesso was dry i glued down the paper larger piece on the outside and overlapped the edges then the smaller one inside to made it all nice and neat.

then i stamped the images onto card, and using various techniques like paper piecing and adding lace and layers and cording etc i dressed them, this was quite a slow and fussy stage but worth it i think.

then back to the background i inked all around the edges, stamped using various stamps, and went over the word in glossy accents, finaly adding some silver metal corners

i added charms etc to the figures and stuck them down with hot glue.
then i cut a number of sheets of paper to fill the book .

for the binding i used some cord and laced all the way up the spine, adding charms the the ends of the cord, then i added an extra piece of cord to use as a book mark adding charms to the ends of this also.

and as you can finally see the back is decorated as the front minus the figures, title and corners.

hope you like this project i had fun making it
hug

Visible Image October Challenge

hi guys,
i am late writing up this post, the last few days i have felt in a right slump and i have no idea where my head has been but its definatly not been in the game, but i have kicked myself up the bum and here i am.
October! new month new challenge at Visible Image
this months theme is Colours of Autumn

i went for a tag this month and using the Sewing Room set, i decided to make a little faerie outfit
you can just about make out in the background where i used the
Crackle background stamp, and a glue pad and glitter, but im jusmping ahead!
the base of the tag is cloured with brushed cordreroy distress ink, then using the same ink and the little flourish stamp from the Imortal  Love Set i went all over it to form a patern, lined up like a harlequin pattern this little stamp make a fantastic background.
the next layer is a very pale leaf pattern paper which i went over with the before mentioned Crackle Background stamp .

i stamped the dress form several times cut out and layered to give a bit of body ( no pun intended lol), painted with acrylics and once dry covered with crackle accents to give an aged wood effect.
then came the fun part , i cut lots of tiny leaves on the craft robo, and made a pretty little skirt, and bra top,
i added 3 flowers to the waist and tiny pearls to the flower centres and the center of the bra top.

then i made a banner/sign in my craft Studio, adding the word Faerie, once printed and cut out i added the word Vogue using the stamp from the sewing room set, to finish i have used some of my preious Petal Lu stash adding the flowers around the bottom corner and a couple on the sign, and finaly a bow to complet the tag.

the options are endless with the theme and the wonderfull stamps available so why not come play along, you could win yourself £20 worht of Visible Image stamps

dont forget to visit our new fb page, and of course come have a chat in the group,
both links are below

hugs x
