Hi guys its Visible Image time again and this week I'm sharing the 2 Edward samples i did for the Create & craft show

first is Edward looking ravishing in red

this is a 6 x 6 red card base, i took 3 different papers in coordinating tones, and distressed the edges with my blade, then i stamped on 2 of them, one has Love from the Isabella lost Love set, the other has forever from the Edward is Immortal set, then i cut a fancy label shape in grey, then a smaller one in striped paper and stamped the rose from the Isabella set . the drips are from the Isabella set too, these i stamped in red then went over with glossy accents, the rose is stamped onto mulberry paper and  coloured with pro markers, i stamped 5 of these and cut and layered to get a nice full rose, i made the stem from wire and again used mulberry paper and pro markers, and the same for the leaves, finishing with a thin black ribbon tied in a bow around the rose stem.

next up is Edward looking perfect in purple, ( can you see a theme here, lol)

i actually love this card, not often i say that about my own cards, lol i just think he looks kinda mesmerising the way the colours have worked, anyway enough of me bigging myself lol
same as before its a 6 x 6 black base card, onto this i layered a purple lace pattern paper, then added a panel of darker purple paper, and then a lovely big moon , i used the bare branch, bats and the word Immortal from the Edward is Immortal set , the branch makes a wonderful border don't you think?

these wonderful set are now available on the Visible Image site, they mix and match so well the possibility's are endless, go on have a peek and treat yourself, you know you want to ;)

Morning all, how you enjoying the sun? way too much for me, but it is nice to see the blue Sky
so its Saturday and that means Visible Image dt post and this week i have 2 of my samples made for the show tomorrow on Create and craft, launching the new sets and boy are they fab!

the show is on at 2pm Sunday make sure you don't miss it because last show had so many sell outs people missed their chance to grab the stamps, or you can pop over before hand and take a look and order before the show , then you can just enjoy watching the wonderful demos show details here http://www.createandcraft.tv/ShowGridView.aspx?showId=2376368

OK so my samples for today and first up is Edward is Immortal

i started with a red base card, and matt and layered 3 different papers which i had printed out then distressed all the edges, on each layer i have stamped something from the set, bringing all the layers together.
I cut a fancy label shape mat for Edward, distressed the edges and stamped with the rose from the Isabella Lost Love set, then i have stamped the drips and added glossy accents along the top of the fancy label, Edward was stamped in tuxedo black memento ink then coloured with pro markers, cut out and added to the card with sticky pads, then i stamped the word Forever, and cut out with a scalpel and again used glossy accents. Finally to make the rose, i stamped the image several times and coloured with pro markers, then i cut and decoupaged, i made a stem and some leaves and finished it off with a black bow.

next i have used both Sets to create this easel card

the whole idea of these sets is you can mix and match, and i think this card shows how great they work together.
Its an 8 x 8 easel, mat with cold card, then a lush green pattern paper, then a smaller gold mat , and another green paper, topped with a strip of gold, another paper and finally a gold scallop and pale green circle of paper which i have stamped all over with the bats from the Edward set, this layout is repeated on the base without the scallop circle and the addition of the sentiment panel , the word Love is from the Isabella set, and the 'is forever' is from the Edward set.
I then stamped and coloured the rose 5 times keeping 3 as they are and cutting 2 down to make buds. i chose this beautiful lace with the green velvet ribbon threaded through it, made some leaves and added to the card, then of course the stars of the piece, Edward and Isabella, have been stamped , coloured to compliment the papers and cut out , then added to the scallop mat.

you really don't want to miss this show, the dt have made some amazing samples and there will be wonderful demos, so hope you join us for a great hr of crafting yumminess from Visible Image.

HI I'm back!
How you all doing, iv had no net for 3 weeks!! nightmare, but now I'm back, lol and my first blog back is for

we all know white on white, but can you do black on black! it kinda freaks you out to start with the idea is quite alien to us, but i enjoyed it once i got it in my head

I have used
Pile of Bones & Angel of death, both available in the shop at Delicious Doodles.

i love this image and the backing paper, so i thought i would keep the actual layout quite simple so you can really enjoy the artwork, so its just matted onto black card, with some black handmade roses, and a net bow with a couple of skulls covered in good old glossy accents.
so there you have it my first card back after my enforced break :)
hope you like It and come join us for the challenge.

hugs x
