Hello again everyone
Today is new challenge at Sincerely yours Creations blog....Theme..Mothers day!
the design team have done some truly lovely cards for you all to look at and get your creative juices flowing.

Here are mine :)
First up is Daisy girl framed from Dilly Bean Stamps.. isn't she just lovely!

I wanted to keep this one quite simple because the image is so lovely, i coloured her with pro markers, and decoupaged some of the flowers, i chose a lovely paper for the background, the colours are so fresh.. and then i simply added some daisy trim, and a few flat back pearls.

Then for a complete contrast using Visible Image Stamps ...

I started with a piece of card 4'' x 6 '', and covered it in a paper from My Craft studio, i inked around the edges with black soot distress ink, i then went all around the edges with the birds from, Free your Imagination Stamp set, using the top edge of the bird with the splatter pattern in black soot , and then again in fired brick distress inks. i took the body form from The Sewing room Stamp set, stamped it , then scanned it and re sized to fit the Corset Stamp, once that was done i covered the stand in crackle accents, and while that was drying i set to making the corset... first it was stamped onto pretty paper, the i added sexy red lace, and some black cord for the stays and laces.

I added an image from the same My Craft Studio disk to the background after i had cut it out scrunched it up and inked with tea dye distress ink to age it a bit. i added the corset to the bodyform and put on sticky padsto stick to the card, next was a bit of black lace along the top, and some pom pom trim along the bottom, some ribbon and a couple of bows for hanging, and to finish it all off some of my fave flowers from the wonderful Petal Lu...

So what will you create for us?  you could win ..2 fantasic Character stamps from Visible Image Stamps, the beautiful Isabella and the very handsome Edward . And from Dilly Bean Stamps you can chose 3 Images of your choice

hi guys,
today i bring you  a sneaky peek at 2 new disks from Jems Designs launching on Create & craft tomorrow at 9am
the first one is from Wish upon a Rose

This design is called Laced with love... i thought the colours so rich on this one, (my photography doesn't do them justice) for this one i took an 8 x 8 black base card, and matt the  8 x 8 insert paper onto it, i then cut the heart from the image to make an aperture, then inside i matt the card with one of the backing papers. i cut  the heart image from the disk and lined it up with the aperture and stuck inside the card

the roses and butterfly are decoupaged so that when the card is closed the decoupage peeps through the hole.

my second card is from A Swans song, and its folder 9 on the disk

this is a really lovely project on the disk, its a card and gift box in one!

all the instructions are there on the disk , and really easy to do, i made some note papers to go in mine , then added a chocolate bar which i made a matching wrap for from backing paper and went along the edges with a fancy punch, then finished off with a ribbon.

so there you have my sneaky peeks, hope you like them and will join the lovely Sue from Jems Designs on Thursday morning at 9 on Create & Craft.. the design team have made some amazing cards for your inspiration.

Hi guys, its Saturday so that mean a Visible Image Stamps DT post,
Its another character tag this week, we are almost at the end of the collection,( for now :) )

I did Jake last week so this time its Katie, with her fabulous butterfly's, i love this little girl she is so cheery, even on a dull cold day like today she can make you smile.

I chose bright spring colours for this tag, using a backing paper from k & co that i had in my stash, i used some distress ink around the edges, and went all around the flowers with a white gel pen to give the look of applique, i coloured Katie with pro markers, and her lovely butterfly's which i then covered in stickles for a little shimmery goodness, cut them out and stuck down with sticky pads.
its quite a simple design but i like how it came out , shows Katie off nicely don't you think.

Don't forget the challenge is still running guys pop over to the blog to enter , you could win £10 to spend on the wonderful Visible Image Stamps..

my post is actually another tag, i am almost done with the whole gang so not many more to show you guys , this time i went with Jake one of the new characters now available on the web site.

this guy is so adorable, with his cheeky grin, i used some paper from my stash to cover the tag, then using another sheet i fussy cut the letters out and popped them onto sticky pads to lift them, i went over the backing paper with the Retro dots background stamp, in black soot and fired brick distress inks, coloured Jack with pro markers, fussy cut him out and popped him on sticky pads, then i arranged the letters and Jack to look like hes doing one of those fancy skateboard tricks.
hope you like it guys, so sorry its a day late.

Morning all
its time for a new challenger at Glitter n sparkle...the theme this week is Anything but a card.. so you can go for anything you like, a scrap page an altered piece just have fun...
for my first project i went for a box, but i will confess to you all now that the finished item isn't a box LOL it started life as a box but the bottom kept falling off and i got so frustrated with it i just decided to turn it into a wall hanging! which I'm quite pleased i did because she looks lovely hanging in my craft area...

the image is Lingerie Sassy from Sassy studio, i have coloured her with coloured pencils to give a soft effect to her sexy undies, i have teamed her with a lovely pinky red backing paper  some fussy cut roses which i covered in glossy accents, i trimmed the edge with a lovely variegated lace i had in my stash, and finished it off with 2 little tickets.

my second project i really wasn't sure what to do with hes such a cute little teddy from crafty sentiments, with his lovely patchwork balloons, i did think of a few things but rejected them all, then while i was shopping , inspiration in the shape of a yummy cupcake! of course i just had to go with it :)

so here he is, proudly sitting on the cupcake!
i coloured him with pro markers, added a cut down BBQ skewer a pretty ribbon around the cake and a matching ticket saying love you...

so this weeks sponsors are Sassy studio offering 4 images from the store next we have Stitchy Bear Digital Stamp offering a $10 gift voucher and Crafty sentiments who are offering  a Doctor Toby image.

so what are you waiting for get your thinking caps on and lets see all your fab makes.

Thursday, 14 February 2013

Hello everyone,
Well today is my first ever design team post for Sincerely yours creations I'm so excited to share this new challenge blog with you all, we will have fortnightly challenges on alternate Thursdays, we will have great sponsors with fab prizes, so i hope you will come play along.
our first challenge is Valentine, and our wonderful sponsors helping to kick us off are Delicious Doodles, and Kenny K, 2 of my most fave digi company's.

So my first card for  Delicious doodles is Gothic faerie...

I went for purple for her hair ( love purple!) and teamed it with lush green for the background, she is coloured with a combination of pro markers and coloured pencils, i took a black 8 x 8 base card, covered in in a pale purple paper from do crafts capsule collection. added another panel of black card, and covered that with pale green paper in the same pattern as the backing paper, and wound some black ribbon around the centre, finishing it off with a bow to one side, i mounted the image on black card and added with sticky pads to raise it slightly, then i took some more of the purple backing paper and made some roses, i finished these with leaves cut from the green backing paper so it all coordinates nicely, then to complete the look i added some small white roses and some small variegated purple flowers.

Next up is my image for Kenny k.. this is called Bow Adult shes a sexy little thing ..

I again started with a 8 x 8 black card base, i layered some soft pink rose pattern paper from my stash, i teamed this with another richer red paper that has a very faint pattern again matt on black and layered i then cut a fancy shape in black and matt with the safe soft pink rose pattern paper, i popped the image onto sticky pads and centred her in the fancy panel, i added a bow ( of course) and some bling , a large red rose, and some smaller tonal brown roses to finish.

I really enjoyed doing these, and the other design team members have done some amazing cards for you to be inspired by  so pop over and have a look, get busy and lets see all your lovely creations xx

Here is my card for this week

I thought she looked quite sweet with her little pram, and so went with a new baby card, i chose some lovely spring colours and printed out the papers from my craft studio, i then made a tab saying new baby , coloured her with pro markers, and matt each paper onto a nice pale green card which actually looks grey in this pic :/
for the base card i found a digital punch in my craft studio and printed it out in black, then cut it out and lay it along the edge of my base card, drew around it then cut it out with a scalpel , flipped it and repeated on the other side.
i finished it off with some pretty pale green ribbon .
hope you like it and come join us at Glitter n Sparkle challenge this week.

visible Image Launch Jake & Katie

hi everyone,
hope your all well, my post today is to launch another 2 super cute characters for Visible Image Stamps...first up we have the lovely Katie she is just adorable, and she is surrounded by beautiful butterfly's and who doesn't love butterfly's?

i coloured her with pro markers as usual, then i chose a butterfly backing paper, (not that you can see much of it lol) and printed it out in blue and lemon, i then chose a blue mirri card, in a complimentary blue, and matt this onto a white card blank, popped on the blue backing paper , then cut a fancy shape out of gold mirri and then a gain slightly smaller out of the lemon backing paper, i wound ribbon round the middle of these layers and added a final fancy shape layer in blue mirri.
i had used 2 shades of blue ribbon, to compliment the mirri card and the blue of her skirt, so i tied 2 bows and added a silver butterfly charm and glued to one side, then added some fancy swirls, i finished by adding Katie on the blue mirri matt and her little butterfly's  of course :)

so next up is Jake

how cute is his face! a right little dude...
this time i used papers from do crafts paper mania chronology in a lovely green, and matted onto black, Jake is coloured in with a combination of pro markers and coloured pencils added some stars and a label, then popped Jake on using sticky pads to add a bit of height .

think you will have to agree they are both fab little characters, pop over to the Visible Image blog for more inspiration from the team, then head on over to the Website to get your hands on these cuties .

Hi Everyone Me again lol
today's make is for the Glitter n Sparkle weekly challenge, this week the theme is valentines / Love
or fabby sponsors are as follows , first up with 3 images of your choice is Daisy Doodles, next with 5 images of your choice is Digi Darla and finally we have Sandi's Samples offering 4 images of your choice.
ok so onto my offering lol

I loved this green paper, and thought it would go nice with pink, so i decided on the card layout, and printed the backing paper and stuck to the front of the card, i then printed it again, but i had faded it out a bit in My Craft Studio, and put the digi on top also faded out, i also printed the digi normally, once i had cut out the faded panel i used it to draw around don't he front of the card and cut the panel out to give an aperture, i then stuck the panel inside lining it up with the cut out front. Next i coloured the digi and cut each bit out and layered on the inner panel, ( those little hearts where tricky lol).
to finish i punched a butterfly and coloured to match, and made some roses ( never made these ones before so they are a little rough) and finished of with the little bling to bring it all together.
hope you like it and come play with us at Glitter n sparkle.
hugs x
