Hi everyone, hope your all well on this bright breezy cold Sunday...
well this week i have a card that was a bit of a challenge in itself lol the Glitter n Sparkle challenge theme this week its Boys are made of, my image to use was Molly from Cdee Designs, humm i thought bit odd for a boys card but ever one to take on a challenge i went ahead and made this ....

I thought red and black would be good strong colours for a boys card, i found these lovely papers on a MCS disk, and teamed them with a black base card, using the same card as a matt i layered the papers up, i made a sentiment and layered, then i took Molly and coloured with pencils to match the colour theme.

So are you up for the challenge?
come join in over at Glitter n Sparkle, you could win one of 4 great prizes from our sponsors who are ...

QKR Stampede offering 5 digis of your choice
Cdee Designs offering  4 digis of your choice
Delicious Doodles offering 4 digis of your choice
and finally offering a $10 voucher to spend in their shop is

so come on lets see all your fab makes .

Visible Image Saturday Blog

Hi all
Another Saturday and another Visible Image Post and another Character tag!
this time i used Max, his little pout just makes me smile  you gotta wonder what text he just got lol.
so first i took a tag, same size as the others (these will be a complete set of the characters).
I covered it in some snazzy paper, and inked around the edge in Broken china distress ink, then using the cracked glass (well that's what it reminds me of) from the Time After Time set, and spiced marmalade distress ink i stamped over the paper randomly, then using the same Time after Time set, i used the numbers in broken china Distress ink to stamp again over the background...
I stamped Max and coloured with pro markers and cut out, adding him to the tag on sticky pads for dimension
I then took a scrap of paper, crumpled it and inked with brushed corduroy and using a baby bulldog clip i added a very special phone number .. so if you fancy any of these fab stamps give it a call...

hope you like it guys

hi everyone, wow another week gone..
its been snowing here all day so i holed up warm and got to work on my DT post for Visible Image stamps.
its another tag using one of the fabulous characters and this time i used Emma, she is so pretty.
this tag was inspired by the amazing. Cheremane smith and her wonderful dt project for the January challenge over on the Visible Image challenge blog.

OK my tag

i took some brown paper and covered a tag, edging the edges in a slightly darker brown, then i used my favourite Grunge flourish stamp with a glue pad, and stamped around the edges then covered in glitter. next i cut a clock on my robo, inked and glittered and clued to acetate then onto the tag, i drew a vine freehand, and added cut out leaves, and some pretty flowers, printed and cut some pink crystal slippers and covered them in glossy accents.
finally i added Emma who was coloured with pro markers, i glittered  her dress and headdress, popped her on some sticky pads and finished with some glittery ribbon.
hope you guys like her

Hi guys
Thought id show you the ATC's i did for a blog hop on Fun With ATC's for their 3rd birthday, i unfortunately forgot the theme was celebrations and just made 3 ATC's using Visible Image Stamps :/ i swear i get worse!
anyway there are some fab makes on the Fun with ATC's blog, and you can follow the hop from there , or you can pop over to the Visible Image blog and join it from there you will also see the great makes from the Visible Image dt there too.
so here are my cards

This first one is using the Classic face Stamp, i used a blue backing paper, and stamped the face with hydrangea big and juicy ink pad, i then used the word dream from the Imagine Dream Inspire set.

For this one i took a pattern paper in shades of light green and stamped over it using the Retro Dots background stamp, i coloured some white card with dusty concord and broken china distress inks, the stamped the Dragonfly in black onto it, then i stamped the dragonfly again onto some acetate that i had coloured blue, i cut both out and layers to give the shimmery look of dragonfly wings, and finished off with the word Beauty from the Beauty is Art set.

And finally a really easy simple one, i just took some Halloween paper cut to size and stuck to some card i had inked in black soot distress ink, and using the wording from Free your Imagination set i stamped around the image.

I love making ATC's and had a lot of fun with these, i hope you pop over to the Fun with ATC's blog and join in the hop , and don't forget the Visible Image blog to see the DT makes there

Hi everyone happy Saturday, well here is my Saturday blog for Visible Image Stamps, and i have a treat for you all in the shape of 2 lovely new characters for you to play with.....

may i introduce you to Bradley and Emma....

how adorable are they! all dressed up ready for the Valentine ball....

i took some charcoal grey shimmery card and made an 8 x 8 scalloped card, i added some pretty pink papers , and a mat in the same grey and another pink paper, i coloured Bradley and Emma with pro markers, but then i paper pieced their clothing to match the backing papers, he has a pink waistcoat and bow tie the same paper as Emma's dress, sadly its a little pale and doesn't show up too good even when i tried a close up :(
anyway i added the big bow, a pretty flower some bling , and of course Bradley is a proper gent so he has brought Emma a corsage....

pop over to the website Visible Image stamps for inspiration form the other DT members, you will love it .. and check out the other new stamps while your there, you might even be lucky and still find a bargain or two left in the sale.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
and what better way to start it of than with a challenge :)....
This one is for the Amazing Visible Image Stamps, and the challenge is Reflections, so many ways to interpret this one don't you think!
i went with an idea i saw posted on FB , though i changed it slightly as in i used a box not a jar, the idea is you take a jar and though the year you write down things that happen good or bad , happy sad or whatever, then next new years eve you take them all out and reflect on the events and see how its changed or not changed you or your life, clever huh..well i didn't have a jar (people who know me will laugh at that) but i did have a box..( yeah more giggles from the gallery ). anyway here is my take on reflections.....

first i took my box which i loved but was looking a little sad as one side was a little sun bleached

i cut papers to size and using 3 yes 3 background stamps i set to work, first the Crackle background in peeled paint distress ink, over this i used the Grunge Polka dot background in Hydrangea big and juicy, then around the bottom and around the top i set to with my favourite Grunge Flourish stamp with pine needles distress ink.

i then spent the evening with kitty on my lap cutting out lots of flowers and leaves from MCS, and arranged on the top..

and finally to finish it off i added the beautiful Isabella

now to begin filling it with memories and reflections to look over this time next year.
i hope you will come join us in the challenge it is a wonderful theme so much you can do with just one word, i look forward to seeing your creations.

i hope you all have a perfect 2013, i wish you all health love and laughter, big hugs xx
