hi guys,
just a quick post from me this week, i have the lurgies and my head feels like its about to explode! lol
so this weeks post for Visible Image Stamps is another Isabella make, shes so pretty i just love working with her...
I made a tag with her this week.
i chose a lovely k & co paper, i put this through the printer to get the word Love just how i wanted it on the tag, then i covered the letters in crackle accents and left to dry...
Once it was dry i then took the Isabella stamp and using just the ends of her curls i went all around the edge i really like the effect its created. i added some bling ribbon to the bottom, and a lovely rose to the top, and of course the beautiful Isabella, then finished off with some fibres.
and here it is...

hope you can pop over to the Visible Image Blog and see what the other dt members have been creating this week, all wonder full projects to inspire you .
hugs x

oh and dont forget there is still time to enter the christmas challenge to win £10 worth of Visible Image Stamps

Saturday, 8 December 2012

hi guys
i have had such a busy week! last Saturday my daughter informed me she had kindly booked me a stall at a craft market....today!! so as you can imagine it has been a frantic rush to get some cards done.....ill let you know how it goes lol.
anyway on to the reason I'm here my DT cards for the Launch of Visible Image's new stamps Max & Molly they are just awesome, so great to work with, i just know you will love them as much as i do..
i decided to do a couple of door name plates, kids always love to have their name on their door ...
so here we are Max & Molly

ain't they just adorable!

OK so first Max, hes a cool little dude , and like most teenage boys hes on his mobile lol, i used some corodinatiosn whitewash card, ran it through the cuttlebug with a Tim Holtz embossing folder, sanded it back to reveal the inner core colour, then i used the Visible Image Crackle background around the edges, over this i used some black soot to grunge up the edges even more, i printed out his name and coloured with pro markers, then fussy cut this out , Max is of course coloured with pro markers, fussy cut and stuck down with sticky pads for dimension.

next we have the pretty little butter wouldn't melt , but look at her teddy Molly

don't you just love that face!
same again with the cordinations white wash card, sanded and this time i used the Grunge Polka dot background from Visible Image, and some purple distress ink, same as max i printed fussy cut, coloured and adhered Molly and her name

come on over to the Visible Image Blog and check out the other DT members creations they really are amazing..

and don't forget the other 3 characters available, here's a little peep at Edward, very dapper gent i must say

Visible Image/Edgar

hi everyone
thought i would bring you a little bit more inspiration for the new Visible Image character stamps....
this time its Edgar hes so adorable,i combined him with the Free your Imagination set, and the
Grunge Flourish, (just love this stamp so versatile).
ok so here he is

i cut a large tag, and covered with some paper from MCS, i covered some cog die cuts with metal tape, and coloured with alcohol inks, then i used the Grunge Flourish along one edge, just using the top of the swirls, then turned it around and using the very bottom of the stamp and a darker ink i went down the same edge, then using Free your Imagination, i stamped the group of birds a few times across the top half, and the main bird which i covered in crackle accents, once this was dry i coloured over it with ink to bring out the crackle, which sadly doesn't show in the pic but here's a close up any way lol

i then stamped the splodges randomly over the whole thing, before adding the cogs, and the adorable Edgar who i coloured using water colour pencils, i used sticky pads to give Edgar and the cogs some dimension.
to finish i added some fibres in coordinating colours.
i hope you like him and go over to Visible Image to take a look at the other dt creations with these fab stamps.

morning all
I'm here again with my weekly post for Visible Image, AND its challenge time!!
this months theme?? what else but Christmas... think twinkling lights, cosy nights, mulled wine ,, lovely!
and of course the pressies lol...which brings me to my DT make..

this is a lovely Little project if you want a treat to give to a friend, i used the Christmas Collage stamp om some burgundy card, then i used glossy accents on the tree and star and whilst it was still wet i covered it in glitter, once dry i brushed of the excess glitter and tadar! one supper sparkly dimensional tree :).
ok so wheres the treat

untie the beautiful bow to reveal....

a lovely box of chocs, mmmm who can resist so lovely dark choc? not me lol

so there you have it, a lovely treat, or you could put thank you notes or notelets inside, whatever you chose I'm sure it will go down well.

so lets see what your wonderful entries, you could win yourself £10 to spend on the visible Image website, maybe treat yourself to the new characters launched yesterday ... and of course top 3 get a badge for their blog .

for my DT project this week i chose the Free your Imagination set, and made this pencil holder for my hubby's desk, i chose a backing paper from MCS changed it to a nice blue. Once cut to size, i stamped the sentiment and bird, (such a lovely splodgy bird i just adore it), then added the stamped ink splats . i stamped the large and small feather in black , then inked over this with Broken China distress ink to give the lovely blue effect, i then covered this in glossy accents , once dry it gives a lovely finish and a bit of stability to the card . i stuck the paper to the bean tin, added my feather and a little black lace , not too much as its for a guy lol. so there you are two little gift ideas.

and don't forget to check out the new releases Isabella, Edward and Edgar...
