this is my Dt card for Vintage Elusions this weeks challenge is Fantasy, and we are being sponsored by Fresh Brewed Designs offering 3 digis of your choice, and Gingerloft Digi Stamps offering 3 digis of your choice .
this is my card, i have used muted colours to reflect stars at night...there is a little glitter but i don't think i picked it up in the pic, i really need to practise my photography.

i made the flowers from velum to give a soft delicate feel, added some lace a touch of ribbon and a moth , ok its a butterfly but they don't fly at night so its a moth ! lol.
anyway i hope you like it and will come play along with us at Vintage Elusions .

hi guys
well here we are Monday again and another DT card for Visible Image stamps, this time i have gone for a muted gentle card, (yeah yeah i know that's odd for me lol) .
i have used paper from my stash, i think its molly blooms, then i took the Grunge Flourish and used it on opposing corners, i then turned it around and used the bottom of the image to stamp around the rest of the border, i love the depth it created. i then used the sentiment stamp Live the Life you've Imagined. and finished with a thin matching ribbon and a knot...
what do you think?

now onto some exciting news , there are some new stamps launching on the 3rd November , beautiful stamps believe me, there are 2 new releases already on the website, and the rest will be there on the 3rd, make sure you check it out seriously they are fab ...
and you still have till the 4th to enter the Autumn challenge to win yourself £20 worth of stamps , Handy huh with the new releases , the new challenge will start on the 1st so be sure to check that out too .

i used an image from one of our sponsors, Smudgtastic digis they are offering 5 digis of your choice to the winner, we also have Stamping Dragon designs offering 4 digis of your choice.
so this is what i came up with, (you may need your shades ,lol )
i used baking papers from my stash, coloured the warty witch with pro markers added lace to her hat, made some paper lace and coloured to coordinate added some ribbon and  some fab flowers from Cards by Lucinda, these flowers are so pretty and the colours where such a perfect match for this card .

hope you will all come play along ..
hugs xx

ok so the hair was driving me crazy so i redid  it lol
i wonder how often we pull apart a finished card and redo part of it? anyway her she is with her new hairdo LOL

Morning all,
hope everyone is well today, here is my DT makes for Visible image, first is another vintage Santa card.
i used the Vintage santa stamp, the backing paper is a brown envelope i cut open and used the inside, i used the beautiful Gaudete background stamp  in the centre, then went down each side with the snowy background  stamp.  Then using more of the envelope i cut out an oval and stamped the Vintage Santa, i made a banner and stamped the Vintage Merry Christmas this was all embossed in copper,i finished off with a gold ribbon bow, and embellished this in the centre with a snowflake from the snowy Background and a single gem for just a touch of bling......

then in complete contrast i made a bright tag using the Stunning Corset , i love this stamp... i used a pretty backing paper from my stash for the tag and printed a coordinating blue paper for the corset, added lots of lace to the tag, this is a beautiful soft feminine lace so went with the corset perfectly.

i stamped the corset twice to give depth and cut one stamped image, then very carefully sewed the corset with a sliver of satin ribbon to give the lacing effect. to finish i added lace to the top and bottom of the corset.

Don't forget you still have time to enter the Autumn theme challenge at Visible Image there are some great prizes of , £20 worth of stamps for the first prize, £10 for the second and £5 for the third, and you get to chose the stamps!.
hope you like these makes and will come play along with the challenge you have till the 4th November to enter....
OH and get over to Visible image there is a fantastic 25% off sale on the Christmas stamps!

hi everyone
well i finally finished the canvases in between design team work and family etc...
i really enjoyed doing these, they took on a life of their own after the first one i started and the first dress didn't gel with the background how i liked i decided to do 2 , while working away on them the title idea came to mind which of course meant the idea them changed into the 4 canvases one for each fashion capital .
first is of course London

this was one of the first outfits i did which kind of took on its own steam punk ish design , so i ran with it,
here's a close up of the details on the outfits, hard to get the real dimension in the photos, but i hope you can see all the little touches.

next i did Paris which was the background i originally started with...

this one just had to be lace, and soft pinks, i made a tiny hanger for the strappy dress

next i thought what am i going to do for New York and Milan...so i went onto google and looked up the fashion shows for those cities and picked the colours that appeared to be big in each show, though Milan was more green and lavender and mine has changed slightly from the original colours LOL
New York was all black and red and silver , very swish

and just for you sue a close up of his velvet collar which is actually flock :)

and finally we have Milan i think this one is so pretty

iv made another little hanger this time in green, added lots of lace again and some chain and a key to one of the dresses , this one to me has come out like a very feminine steam punk, what do you think?

i have finished them all with a bit of grunging and some corners cut on the cricut.

I'm hoping to get some time next week to do a tutorial for you all on the backgrounds.....
let me know what you think guys,
hugs x

afternoon all
well look at me 2 posts in one day lol what is the world coming to....
this card is my dt card for the challenge at http://vintageelusionscardscrafts.blogspot.co.uk/, the theme this week is add some ephemera . anything goes challenge , i had already decided on the Classic Marie Antoinette digi form Sassy Studio Designs , then add some Ephemera ok thinking about it and i came up with the Let them eat cake quote... (my mind often wanders to cake) so off i go looking at cake pictures and come across a lovely strawberry and cream sponge mm mm, using this as inspiration i coloured her dress, then onto the ephemera, well a recipe card and small thank you note would work i thought, then a doily which of course you have on cake plates, and then a rosette in red gingham to represent the jam, some lovely strawberries, and all backed onto a copy of the original cake photo ....

i hope you guys like her and will come join in our challenge at  http://vintageelusionscardscrafts.blogspot.co.uk/   we have some great prizes from Sassy studio designs,we have 4 digis of your choice. from Robbins Fetish we have 5 digis of your choice, and from
Delicious Doodles we have 4 digis of your choice, so come on it sure gets your brain working thinking of adding ephemera! go on give it a go look forward to seeing all your entries xx

morning everyone
i realy need to get myself back on track getting things posted, but as yu all know sometimes life gets in the way of crafting, rude isnt it!
anyway onto todays post for Visble image stamps, this week i did a couple of christmas cards using their wonderfull stamps, the first one is using the http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/vintagesanta.ht

and i used a snowflake from
http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/snowybackground.htm for the centre of the flower

the papers are just from my stash i think they where a free gift with a magazine second i went for the beautiful http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/christmascollage.htm

i used the
http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/snowybackground.htm, all over the white base card and embossed with clear powder to give a nice simple background. i stamped the main image in blue, then glittered the tree and star , mounted it on a matching blue cut out quite close to give just a small border, added a ribbon and bow to finish.
hope you like them x

 hi guys
wel here we go my first post for Visable Image Stamps, what can i say i got my stamps and all i thought was WOW, i couldnt wait to get started playing...
i have to tell you guys i am not the best stamper in the world but these stamp like a dream, so clear and detailed, they even made me look good lol
right so first i did a card for the challenge at  http://visibleimage.blogspot.co.uk/search?updated-max=2012-09-29T17:55:00%2B01:00&max-results=3 inspired by autumn i have used the http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/feminine/corset.htm stamp.
i chose a backing paper  of tea roses, in a soft brown then went over with spiced marmalade distress ink to bring the autumn feel out a little, cut a couple of matts and then edged all these using the http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/grungeflourish.htm. i used just the very edges of the stamp  to give interest and embossed this in gold.

i found a nice paper i thought would look good as a base for the corset, and using the same paper for each but a different colour of ink got 3 lovely autumn coloured corset's to display.

i finished it off with a paper border coloured with disress inks and threaded with gold ribbon.

next i couldnt resist playing with the christmas stamps
i chose a lovely deep blue background, and using the stunning http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/christmascollage.htm stamp, i stamped on another sheet of the same paper in moonlight white brilliance ink and snowflake tinsel embossing power. tore this image out and mounted with foam tape.

close up of the glitter embossing

i then used http://www.visibleimage.co.uk/stamps/christmas/snowybackground.htm to make some snowflake flowers using the same snowflake tinsel embossing powder , finished off with a gem in the centre

then to finish of fi added a beautiful ribbon bow in the top corner .
i hope you will come join in the challenge there are some fantastic prize's
first prize £20 worth of Visable image stamps
second prize £10 of Visable image stamps
third prize £5 of Visable image stamps .

also come join us on our facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/visibleimage/ for lots of inspiration .....
