hi everyone,
well im here with amazing exciting news.......
I am now on the design team for Visible Image stamps, OMG im so excited.! lol i cant wait to get working with their wonderfull stamps, if you dont know about them yet get over to  www.visibleimage.co.uk you will love them all......

untill i get my hands on the new stamsp to work with i best get these canvases finished because i think i might just be distracted once they arrive dont you LOLso whats happening with them now , first i did the other 2 backgrounds
first this one...

then this one

 

and having done the edges on these 2 i went back to the first to edge those to keep the feel of the canvas  across the set.

then it was onto the images...

as you can see i have made a start on these , im still working on the first ones, i love doing these but they do take a lot of time......

hope you like how they are going so far back tomorrow with more progress hopefully.

hi everyone
well here we are again, and iv been working on the canvases, i thought i would show you the stages so far, first i stamped the images

and cut them out....

 i did this with a few papers and cut out different bits to build up the image to give some dimension .

next, i arrange on the canvas to find the best positioning

and finally i work on the details

still so much to do on these, very time consuming but i love it, i adore all the fiddly little details, ill be working more on these over the weekend, so watch this space ....
sorry about some of the photos being a little fuzzy im not so good with a camera :)

hi everyone,
i have for the moment finished all the dt work i had, more in the pipeline as always but for now i had some time to play, so decided on a canvas, i had an idea in my head it was all pink and girly and pretty lace ect, i did the background...

decided on my images, with a little nudge from my friend Pamela who reminded me i had these wonderful stamps i went ahead and stamped the 3 images from the KanBan Jasper set, picked some papers, and went ahead with stamping again for paper piecing, i cut them out and used pro markers to add depth and shadow ect, but by the time i had finished i no longer liked them on the background .lol
i realy like this background and didnt want to lose it so out comes another canvas, paints,masks, inks ect, and a little later .....

talk about different, but thats often what happens when i start to play things evolve on their own..lol
anyway thought i would catch up with you guys and show you what im playing with right now, maybe tomorrow ill have another step to show you .

i went with the buttons and bows theme using a digi from lej designs, some pretty backing papers, printed out some buttons covered them in glossy accents ( do you get the idea i love that stuff lol) hand sewed the papers together, and added some ribbon bows.

i have used Jade Vamp and Jonny Frankenstein  ithought they where so cute, i know its a little early for Halloween but i LOVE it lol so any excuse .
i used some backing paper i have had forever, cut out a haunted house and some bats, made a fence painted it and crackled to make it look old, then made a sign for trick or treat.
hope you come play along its a fun theme and great prizes, look forward to seeing all your entries..

hi guys im back :)
iv been busy this week with dt cards all stuff i cannot show you yet :/. but that is all done now, so, today i realised i just had time to make something for the http://forevernightchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ the theme is anything goes so i decided id use this lovely digi i bought ages ago from http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/ .i coloured her with promarkers, picked 3 nice backing papers which i then messed around with in MCS, changing the colour, printed them out, cut to size, then stamped with some butterflys, crackles and swirls, i then mounted onto a black base card, matted the papers onto black card, added lace and ribbon, and finished with a bow.
i love this image and im sure i will be using her again, she makes a pretty Halloween/Samhain card.

 today i have been busy with dt stuff, but i did also manage to make the boxes for the cards i showed you yesterday...the blue one isnt finished because i dont know whos getting it LOL, i did prep the papers to do the names when needed..

hi everyone,
well its realy late for me to be posting but thougt id get these card up , iv just finished putting them together , my day didnt got quite as planned.. but it was a nice day, had a lovely lunch in the park with hubby , just chilling was nice, but did mean i got a little behind, anyway they are done now.:)
we have had 2 engments in the family the last week or so, hubby's sister, and my nephew, so i thought id do the one design for both save me some time LOL i actlualy ended up doing 3, my thinking was things always happen in 3's so id be prepared...... so here they are same card different colours, the cute digi is from

well it feels like i didnt get much done today, though i have prepped some cards ready to put together . I needed some flowers, so i had a go at making my own template as i dont have a punch and i wanted to try lucindas tutorial ..

took a while, but hopefully they will look ok on the cards....what do you think of my attempt?

the bigger ones are 1,1/2'' and the smaller ones 1'', coloured with disstress inks and glittered , im quite pleased with them, though i did have a run in with  the hatefull hotglue!....

so not mugh to show today, tomorrow ill show the finished cards :)

another lovely sunny day, and another challenge over on

i have used Katniss Girl of Fire Sassy image,

i coloured her with Faber Castell pencils, and glittered her dress with glamour dust, chose some lovely papers in complimentry shades, tore them to size and distressed with a blade, then used disress inks to darken the edhes a little, i used a mask to draw around and fussy cut the doily , added a handmade flower that was cut form coredinations which i scrunched, sanded and used the blade on the edges to give it a real nice disressed look, finished off with a pretty stickpin and the word Beautiful because she is.....

a close up of the sparkle on her dress, its quite subtle untill the light hits it.
i hope you will all come over and join in it realy is a great prize !.

the backing papers and the sentiment, which i printed several times and layered, are mcs, i coloured the pretty faerie with pencils,matted her on a doilie ( though i think she should have been a little bigger ) added paper lace, and some butterflys highlighted with liquid pearls for the body.
