well realising the deadline was today i thought i best get a card made for the challenge over on https://www.facebook.com/groups/114182605340561/  i had seen this digi on http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/ a few days ago, and thought it would be perfect...
i made some leaves from old book pages, coloured and embossed with ultra thick powder, i coloured the image with pro markers, cut out , made extra little leaves and layered on the lovely backing paper i got from a mcs disk... i hope i get it in on time LOL but if not i had fun :)

the leaves dont show very well in the pic, so i took one of a few extras to show you xx

well its been a while, im been a bit busy sorting some personal stuff, life is a bit of a pain at the moment getting in the way of my crafting..lol how dare it!
anyway i have managed to get a card done for a friend whos little girl is one soon, she wanted girly ,pink, and her name on it, it think i managed to cover the brief :)
i found a lovely image from http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/ isnt she adorable!
i made the flowers from mullberry paper coloured to match, coloured the image with my trusty pro markers, added lace and a touch of sparkle to her wings...

this is the front, its an 8''x8'' easel card..

the letters are cut on my cricut, layered and then covered with glossy accents

oh and do you remember the bean tin i did in green with the butterflys, it was a top pick over on http://crafty-emblies.blogspot.co.uk/ how cool is that, :)

today i have a DT card for DCC &Friends  challenger #2 over on http://dccfriendschallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/dcc-friends-challenge-2.html, it has a lovely theme of  faeries, mystic and magic.

here is my offering

i used a beautiful image from a MCS disk, and seeing her sitting there on her swing? gave me the idea of making a window hanger, i used the inner from a used up double sided tape, printed her on acetate, glittered her, filled the ring with glitter, made some hanging beading, and a ribbon to hang it with, when you shake it the glitter sticks to the acetate inside and gives a wonderful effect, and of course we have recycled the tape ring :)

Morning everyone
well here we are my first ever DT project for  http://vintageelusionscardscrafts.blogspot.co.uk/ , i am so thrilled to be part of the team, and had so much fun coming up with a project for the challenge. the theme is Vintage Haberdashery / anything goes...as you can see i went with Vintage haberdashery and i used 2 of the fab images from http://smudgetasticdigis.blogspot.co.uk/

i made a bodyform,and wedding dress, ripped and disressed the dress a little to get the aged look, the poem is To F...by Poe of course..its printed onto tissue which i had already printed with pattern pieces, then glued to an old brown envelope ( i love recycling ) and hand stitched.

then i finished with a bit of bling ,lace ,ribbon and a flower .

 i used the graveyard digi as a background,tinted pink,used white acrylic to stamp vines around the edges....

i made a frame for the Poe canvas digi, and used sepia accents on it ..

been a few days since i blogged, its been so hot here, and iv been busy with a few projects i cant actualy share , this one i have been told i can , as Lucinda is too impatient to wait for the postie lol.
after seeing my pink tin she left a message saying if her desk wasnt so untidy she would get me to make her one, so in an effort to help her get tidy ( unlike me ) i have made her one in her fav colour which is green this looks blue in the pics but i promise it is green lol and a little extra something she didnt know about , wasnt going to show it but it is a set so hope you like it hun xx

ihave used papers from MCS, the image is Ebony from the stunning Jems design disk Exquisite.i finished off with some peel offs which i put onto fantasy film cut around and added to give a little dimention.
