hi guys
not really sure how i go about blogging this one so ill just go for it lol
this is my card for the delicious doodles dt entered into the
never done one of these before so all new to me,
OK so the theme was Old & Grey and this is what i came up with

i was thinking of old miss haversham, well she was old and grey lol
first i used the wonderful Graveyard digi, which i coloured in shades of cool grey, i also printed and re sized just the cross tomb stone to which i added the word forever, i coloured the Gothic bride in greys , then i printed her twice onto tissue paper, i cut one to be the back of her, and another to be layered over the front, so you get the effect of a veil because you can see through it, i then painted this with sparkling h20 to give a nice shimmer, once she was all cut and assembled i added her headdress which i coloured with pro markers then faded out with a blender pen to age it.
i stuck her down, then coloured cut and added the tomb stone, then i printed coloured and cut the Loves Faded memory, after adding some black trim around the edge a some grey flat back pearls i added the Loves faded memory in the foreground.
the to give the real aged affect i used glue to highlight the folds of her veil & dress , a little on the roses and the skull she is holding then covered it all in incense dust to give her the old look, ( also smells quite nice ).
and there you have it my take on old and grey :)

OK so details
