hey guys , day 10 already for the 31 days of Halloween over on Smeared Ink
there have been some truly fab project, but today is my turn again lol

i have used Blanch  from Delicious Doodles
she is relatively new and i have to say a fave

i have to say i had so much fun with this one, i just loved playing and adding all the details

its an 8 x8 black card, matt with silver and then a purple paper i have stamped on in black, i stamped and cut the clock and witches brew bottles, then coloured with pro markers.
the swirly bat, and lamp stand bat as i call it lol where cut on the craft robo, then coloured glittered and glossed the hanging bottles i cot on the robo too and coloured and glossy accented, and added some runes.
and of course Blanch was coloured with pro markers and cut, once assembled i finished with a metal corner, and there you have it my make for day 10.

make sure you pop over and have a look at all the work on the Smeared Ink page , there is a list of all the players and the inspirations is amazing

oh and don't forget you could win this image in today's random draw for the scavenger hunt you just have to e-mail the girls (details are here) good luck x

hi guys , I'm just here to show you a project i made for a friend, its not a dt make is not a challenge thing its just a gift i made for someone, hope you like it

first i cut 2 pieces of cardboard to size, (just from cardboard boxes) i painted then with gesso to seal and give a good base.
i created some backing paper in My Craft studio and printed out 4 copies, 2 larger than the piece and 2 to fit it. once the gesso was dry i glued down the paper larger piece on the outside and overlapped the edges then the smaller one inside to made it all nice and neat.

then i stamped the images onto card, and using various techniques like paper piecing and adding lace and layers and cording etc i dressed them, this was quite a slow and fussy stage but worth it i think.

then back to the background i inked all around the edges, stamped using various stamps, and went over the word in glossy accents, finaly adding some silver metal corners

i added charms etc to the figures and stuck them down with hot glue.
then i cut a number of sheets of paper to fill the book .

for the binding i used some cord and laced all the way up the spine, adding charms the the ends of the cord, then i added an extra piece of cord to use as a book mark adding charms to the ends of this also.

and as you can finally see the back is decorated as the front minus the figures, title and corners.

hope you like this project i had fun making it

my image is from Lacey sunshine, shes called pearl sea kissed  mermaid isn't she pretty, she is coloured with pro markers and then fussy cut, the other elements and paper are from do crafts using a mix of the disk i have from them.

Hi all, Visible Image day !
OK so i sit down to make something for this weeks post and ....nothing....brain says NO not working today !
after a few oh god i don't think so's went in the bin i finally won and came up with this, its a nifty little idea to personalise small or smallish gifts.

i have made a pillow gift box with matching tissue paper, tag, and card.

i used the new Enchanting Snowflakes set, i have to admit i do love this large snowflake from the set its a bit grungy and you know how i love the grunge lol.

its all self explanatory really nothing but stamping,....

i used a template from My Craft studio, but i found this link if any of you guys want a template to make your own pillow box they are free downloads :)

so i hope you like my make , you could also make your own wrapping paper for larger projects using the rolls of drawing paper you can buy in the kids art department.
have a go, how pretty would it look having all your pressies and even home made crackers all unique to you and all matching !

this week i chose the beautiful Rosalee and teamed her with the Awareness Ribbon, i cut the card base on the craft robo, the inner part of the front i coloured pink, the i printed and cut the image and coloured in soft pastel shades, centred it inside the card so she showed through the aperture, then i coloured and cut out the Ribbon and attached to the side adding a single pink gem.

a bit of a contrast from yesterdays bright orange and purple creation :)

Visible Image October Challenge

hi guys,
i am late writing up this post, the last few days i have felt in a right slump and i have no idea where my head has been but its definatly not been in the game, but i have kicked myself up the bum and here i am.
October! new month new challenge at Visible Image
this months theme is Colours of Autumn

i went for a tag this month and using the Sewing Room set, i decided to make a little faerie outfit
you can just about make out in the background where i used the
Crackle background stamp, and a glue pad and glitter, but im jusmping ahead!
the base of the tag is cloured with brushed cordreroy distress ink, then using the same ink and the little flourish stamp from the Imortal  Love Set i went all over it to form a patern, lined up like a harlequin pattern this little stamp make a fantastic background.
the next layer is a very pale leaf pattern paper which i went over with the before mentioned Crackle Background stamp .

i stamped the dress form several times cut out and layered to give a bit of body ( no pun intended lol), painted with acrylics and once dry covered with crackle accents to give an aged wood effect.
then came the fun part , i cut lots of tiny leaves on the craft robo, and made a pretty little skirt, and bra top,
i added 3 flowers to the waist and tiny pearls to the flower centres and the center of the bra top.

then i made a banner/sign in my craft Studio, adding the word Faerie, once printed and cut out i added the word Vogue using the stamp from the sewing room set, to finish i have used some of my preious Petal Lu stash adding the flowers around the bottom corner and a couple on the sign, and finaly a bow to complet the tag.

the options are endless with the theme and the wonderfull stamps available so why not come play along, you could win yourself £20 worht of Visible Image stamps

dont forget to visit our new fb page, and of course come have a chat in the group,
both links are below
