Hi everyone
Happy Sunday, time for a new challenge at Glitter n Sparkle Challenge. this weeks theme is St Patricks Day / Use some Green.

we are being sponsored by Bug a Boo offering 7 images from their store, then we have Floppy Latte offering a $6 voucher to spend in their store ,and Jelly park offering 5 images from their store. so well worth a go ....

right here is my dt card using Butterfly's in the Grass from floppy Latte..

i used a white  6 x 6 card blank, which i covered in a pretty soft pink and Green pattern paper from MCS, i matt the paper onto some green card, then cut a Dollie from the same green card, i matt the centre of this with another soft pink paper, i then coloured the image with watercolour pencils, i printed 2 extra butterfly's, stuck them on card, and coloured , then i covered them in glitter glue, once dry i cut them out and shaped  them for dimension, stuck them done and finished off with a few tiny flat back pearls for the body's.

hope you like it, and come play along with the challenge.

Saturday, 9 March 2013

Hi everyone
Saturday again, wow the weeks are flying by, we will be sunning ourselves before we know it!
Saturday is Visible Image stamps Dt post and today i have the last of the character tags for you. (well unless we get some new guys ;) )...so here he is

Edward..

isn't he a handsome fella.

OK so i took a tag, and covered it in dome brown K&Co script pattern paper, over this i stamped the fob watches from the Clock Time after Time set, then using the crackle from the same set, i masked the watches and stamped over the clock face, to give the impression of broken watches and time having stopped, i then used crackle accents over this to further enhance the broken glass look. I added a few crackles over the background too .
i printed out the word Forever, and crackle glazed it, then cut out and stuck on with sticky pads. Finally i stamped Edward coloured him with pro markers, cut him out and stuck him on with sticky pads, a little black ribbon was the final touch.
and here they all are together...

i really enjoyed doing these and i hope you enjoyed seeing them.

Hi guys
I am so so so excited, i don't know how iv kept quiet, but i can now shout it out, i got on the Delicious Doodles design team !!!
I will hopefully be showing you loads of fab project using the lovely Teri's images, and for those of you who like it a little dark there will be plenty :) but also lots and lots of pretty images too. so to start me off i made a little wall hanging for my room,

I used the image Butterfly Bliss, printed extra butterfly's and lots of extra flowers, once coloured , i cut the flowers losing a few feathers each time till i was left with just one feather, i then layered them all and topped with a gem, doesn't show too well but it has lots of dimension, i cut and coloured the extra butterfly's and covered in glitter, then mounted on the image with sticky pads.
Next i cut a piece of card to 4 x 6, and covered in pretty paper, inked the edges with distress ink Milled Lavender. i punched a few strips of white paper to give a lace edge, which i again coloured with Milled Lavender, then i took some fancy lace from my stash and layered then all finishing off with some lavender ribbon, i stuck this ti the bottom edge of the card, i then added just some paper lace to the right hand edge of the cardboard and the left hand edge of the image, i added the image on sticky pads, and to finish i used some purple fibre which i wrapped around the top, and again over the ribbon, and finished with a bow, and a little ribbon to hang it with.

I do hope you like my little make,

And i want to say a big thank you to Teri and the DT for choosing me i am really looking forward to working with you all

hi all
me again :)
today its time for a new challenge at Artistic Inspirations ... theme  Things with wings...

so time to get out all your lovely butterfly, bumble bee, dragonfly's, birds etc and create some pretty things with wing creations.

Here is my DT sample

i loved the happy image of the bumble bees playing amongst the Daisy's, mad me think of summer so i chose a bright summery backing paper, i printed the digi image on the backing paper, so i would have all the little stitchy bits, the printed again on plain white and coloured with pro markers, i then cut it all out, and stuck it to the card over the printed image the only bit that isn't coloured cut and stuck is the stitchy  details, i then added some fancy glittered corners i had cut on my cricut, its a simple sweet card and makes me think of spring.

so its over to you now, you could win your self  3 images from Meljens designs...

hi all
well Sunday is here , wow time is going fast..time for a new challenge over on Glitter n Sparkle, and its a Mothers day theme...
i have used Giraffes from Daisy Doodles, cute huh?

i chose brown as a base because they have brown spots, and then chose another lighter beige paper as a matt because they are a beige is colour lol, to brighten it i went for pink which always looks good with brown,
i matt the pink paper and the beige paper onto the Brown card, and using the scraps of brown i cut 2 fancy corner flourishes, 3 buttons, and mounted the sentiment onto it too, i then cut flowers from the pink and beige flowers and layered them in alternate colours, i had inked all the edges after cutting in tea dye distress ink. once assembled i added the button centres, i coloured the mum and baby giraffes with pro markers, cut out and stuck on with sticky pads, added the corners the flowers and the sentiment ..done!

Visible Image Saturday Blog

Happy Saturday everyone
Well you must know by now what that means :) Saturday means Visible Image Dt post, and yes you guessed it its another tag LOL almost done, next week will be the last one, then you will have the full set lol.

OK so this week we are seeing Bradly in all his finery... why is it always the girls who get seem to get glammed up? well not this time, move over Madonna Bradly is Vogueing lol

So i started with the same tag size and shape as all the others, covered in a lovely blue paper from my stash, and used my all time fave Grunge flourish to the top and bottom in Broken china distress ink, added a bit more ink around the edges to soften it, i then used 2 of the sentiments from The Sewing room set,  then stamped Bradly separately and coloured him with pro markers, popped him on sticky pads, and there he is looking rather dapper. to finish i added a nice blue ribbon.

Hope you like it.
You will find all the character stamps on the website, pop over and have a look .

Visible Image March Challenge

Hi guys me again
Boy my blog has been busy the last few days...
Today i bring you the new Challenge at Visible Image Blog....and the theme is Spring, the design team have made amazing samples to get your creativity flowing, you really must go take a look at the blog, you will love them.

OK so i have used Bradley and Emma and i was thinking spring bride.....

I started with a white 8 x 8 card blank, and covered that in some pretty spring blossom decorated paper, around the edges i used my Grunge Flourish stamp, with a glue pad, and then glittered, next i cut the arch on my craft robo, and lots of extra flowers, kept it all white, then coloured the vines in a soft green and the centre of the flowers yellow. i glittered the arch because if you cant have sparkle at a wedding when can you!  next i made a bouquet from a card base covered in ribbon, some glitter to peep thought he blooms, and layers and layers of flowers, to which i added tiny sparkly gems, finishing it with a bow.
Bradley and Emma where stamped and coloured with pro markers, i glittered Emma's gown to look like lace.

Hope you  like it, and will come join in with the challenge, its a lovely theme and will brighten these gray days, look forward to seeing all your fab makes xx
